  1. This is really our best shot - when Texas, Tech, OU, and OSU leave we should form an alliance with Houston, Tulsa, and SMU to get the Big 12 to at least 9. We all need to hang together or we will surely hang separately.

  3. The only thing I can think of is that they aren't counting the Lone Star and Southland conference titles.
  4. 24 according to the Football Data Warehouse http://www.cfbdatawarehouse.com/data/div_ia/sunbelt/north_texas/championships.php
  5. Why does everyone want to invite FCS schools to this conference??? I don't get it. Inviting UTSA and Texas State would damage the reputation of a conference people already view as weak. Every other conference expansion is looking to improve their standing... we seem to want to lower ours.
  6. It's going to be awesome! However, at this time we have no idea if they will come in from the east side, the west side, or parachute in from the heavens.
  7. Unfortunately, I can see the Sun Belt making a monstrously idiotic move like inviting UTSA. If you need proof, read up on the ESPN deal Waters signed. We have the opportunity to kill the WAC. Let's put it out of its misery already!
  8. Geez, thanks for locking into a contract for NINE YEARS! If the Sun Belt suddenly improved (yeah, I know) we'd still get paid like we were the third worst conference in football.
  9. I will be floating around the Gulf of Mexico on the Carnival Conquest.
  10. Sweet!
  11. That's good. I wonder what song they were playing.
  12. The Mountain West could make an attempt to lure some or all of the remaining [big 12] schools — programs like Baylor, Iowa State and Kansas State. Or those schools, perhaps with Missouri and Kansas, could attempt to rebuild the Big 12 by poaching teams from the Mountain West. 13. I heard an AD employee at the watching party say the reason tailgating during the game is not allowed is because of security. For me, I want people in the stadium and not hanging out on The Hill watching some other game.
  14. A&M 43 $MU 14 3Q - 3:21
  15. LOL! I'm pretty sure Bryant Moniz is a native islander. Guess anybody who isn't lilly white is "black" to those guys. Watch out, Bryant. That thing on this dude's head looks like it's hungry.
  16. Oh, and when we went to SMU the following year, some pampered co-ed driving daddy's BMW nearly ran me over. I ended up on her hood and she sped off without a word.
  17. "Cash vs. Trash" was a sign I saw at the SMU-UNT game a few years ago. That, and every SMU grad I've ever worked with was a real collar-popping douche. That doesn't mean they all are, just sharing my experience and why I hate them.
  18. Why is tailgating not allowed, or why do I hope it is enforced?
  19. Aggies... do something terrible.
  20. Marshall stopped West Virginia on 4th down, then drove down to kick a FG. Marshall 13 WVU 20 3rd Q - 5:14 In the Friends of Coal Bowl ------------------------ And WVU's Tavon Austin answers with a 100 yard kickoff return Marshall 13 WVU 27 -------------------------- And now the game is suspended due to lightning
  21. June Jones went 1-11 in his first season at SMU. Three years later, SMU is on the verge of moving to the Big 12.
  22. Hawaii 24 Colorado 17 4th - 12:00
  23. What makes it interesting is that we would be able to earn our way to the upper division of the Southern Conference. What I don't understand is why those eggheads at the WSJ puts Boise in the lower division of the Pacific Conference but puts San Diego State in the upper. But it is an intriguing idea.
