  1. That's why I bring a radio to listen to.
  2. How about "Not Playing Down to our Opponent"?
  3. ViolentAcrez, the undisputed Biggest Troll of the Internet, has been exposed as a programmer located in Arlington, TX. http://gawker.com/5950981/unmasking-reddits-violentacrez-the-biggest-troll-on-the-web
  4. Stopping runs with a timeout.
  5. If a potential employer refuses to extend me an offer because of what I have on Facebook or GoMeanGreen.com, so be it. On the other hand, I'm a pretty boring person so I doubt that will ever happen. The most controversial stuff on my timeline is my support for Romney... and according to Mitt that will only piss off 47% of the country. I like those odds.
  6. Why black out a game that's in a foreign city?
  7. Nationally televised!
  8. StormChaser, I appreciate your passion and enthusiasm. We need more of that. I think the response you are getting to your idea is because of the bad taste left by Darrell Dickey's Black Saturday debacle. It was a big, dirty middle finger at the administration, the AD, and the fans. Also, we are trying to build tradition and spirit by encouraging the wearing of green. The constant re-branding of our school is an annoyance, and now we have yet another shade of green associated with our university. As someone who has only been a part of this university since 2005, I can tell you that there has been tremendous progress in a short amount of time. Progress takes time, especially after a long period, decades, of apathy toward athletics. We just need to win, consistently, and the rest will take care of itself.
  9. Not exactly sure how cell towers are the problem, but I do know the data connection on my phone is HORRIBLE during games.
  10. This really isn't a case of voter fraud, it's people getting paid for every registration sent in. Probably a college kid looking for extra pocket money.
  11. If a 14-7 loss keeps them away....
  12. Must have been a lot of explosive plays
  13. Located at the Albertson's in Roanoke near the pharmacy.
  14. I believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. A few years ago, I was touched by his noodly appendage.
  15. The protestors have a right to peacefully assemble. What the DailyKOS is not reporting (which comes as no surprise to me) is that these protestors have been harassing capitol staffers for over a year. That's not peacefully assembling, that's being a nuisance. The code they are violating is clearly there to prevent intentional interference of state workers conducting their daily activities. If they don't like the law, they should have it changed. If they think it is unconstitutional, they have recourse in the courts. But don't be shocked if you get arrested when you go out of your way to violate the law.
  16. I don't know what we should be doing, but I do know what we should NOT be doing... We should not be "condemning" the exercise of free speech of our citizens, even if it is offensive and stupid. We should not be praising the efforts of the Libyan government when it appears they actually pointed out the ambassador's new "secure" location. We should not have a President missing 57% of his daily intelligence briefings. We should not be snubbing the only democracy in the Middle East, which lives under constant threat of nuclear attack from Iran. We should not be neglecting security at our Middle East embassies. But that's what this administration is doing.
  17. No matter what, we play at least two games.
  18. I'll say it again. 1. We already wear green, but 2. We can't seem to decide on what shade of green.
  19. Green should be standard - no need to encourage "Green Out" games, that should be a given. The problem is that we STILL hand out t-shirts to students that are a dozen different shades of green. A white out game would be cool.
  20. Yeah, I was not impressed. Except for their Drum Major's back bend.
