I don't care that students stay on the Hill. I don't care that adult fans stay in their tents. It happens at every university, we are not unique here. If we do half the enforcement you guys want to do on the Hill after kickoff, the pre-game tailgate atmosphere will suffer for it. Our attendance could be much, much worse. Just win - people will come to the game.

It can be anything. Some of the coolest rival trophies are a jug, an axe, a skillet. And I think this trophy is something that should change hands at the end of a game. Someone gets the trophy for having the most wins the first year, then it is up for grabs every time the current champion plays another Texas team. Here are some ideas: The Bluebonnet Cup (Just a cup trophy with a bluebonnet etching) The Dutch Oven (just what it sounds like) The USS Texas (a bronze replica of the official state ship of Texas) The Texas Armadillo (a bronze critter with the Texas flag etching)

OK, I didn't really want to get into this but I have to call BS on your marijuana claim (it's called "weed" in the urban areas of the country). You call Emmitt naive when he says "weed" doesn't make people violent, but "it's culture does." Then you don't explain your point. "Weed" is probably the mildest of illegal drugs. It is less harmful than alcohol. I admit... I used to smoke a lot of "weed" when I was a younger man, and I hung out with people who smoked a lot of "weed." I have never EVER witnessed a person get violent while high on "weed." The worst behavior I have ever seen when someone was high on "weed" was a vicious assault on a chocolate cake. It never stood a chance.

Maybe a black and white pie can bring us together.
