    They went from 56,743 at their first game, to averaging about 29k this year. I'd say the direction they are headed is not one they'll be bragging about in a couple years.

    It's laughable, reading their board. A Texas team in your division isn't going to be a rival? They "deserve a more worthy rival?" Really? I know this football thing is new for these guys, but someone should teach them the basics. Maybe they can have a Football 101 clinic like we have for the women-folk? Message to the Col. Sanders Crew... YOU WILL NOT BE INVITED TO A BOWL GAME THIS YEAR - PERIOD.

    Heart of Dallas may become C-USA's #1 bowl. It is generally decent weather, good travel destination, near Conference HQ, and played in the Cotton Bowl.

    24,606 showed up in San Antonio. 25,391 previous home game. 25,272 against Rice I think it's safe to say the novelty is starting to wear off. If they don't start winning soon, they'll be in the mid teens within 2 seasons.

According to the NCAA rule book: Those persons subject to the rules are: Everyone in the team area, players, substitutes, replaced players, coaches, athletics trainers, cheerleaders, band members, mascots, public-address announcers, audio and video system operators, and other persons affiliated with the teams or institutions.

    Artificial Noisemakers. The NCAA Football Rule Book shall be followed regarding artificial noisemakers. An official may penalize a team if the following rule is interpreted to be violated: “Persons subject to the rules, including bands, shall not create any noise that prohibits a team from hearing its signals.”

    "Seat allocation will be based on Mean Green Priority Points." I hope they mean that. My tickets to the NCAA tournament in OKC were on the top row. Students had better seats than I did.

    I like that we have some 3-star recruits in the secondary. It's a real weakness on defense, can't count how many times we've been burned on the long ball.
