    C-USA wants these tickets sold early. Six days is not enough time to sell tickets to a championship game.

    Not really. Tickets need to be sold early for season ticket holders. Sale to the general public would happen after we confirm that we will host.

    If C-USA holds true to historic form, Championship Game tickets should go on sale next weekend. In previous years, teams that had a chance of hosting the game were allowed to sell tickets to season ticket holders two weeks before the game.

    That is what I mean. If Rice loses Thursday, we could know before the end of the game Saturday (because Tulane plays at the same time).

    If Rice loses Thursday, we may know before the end of the UTSA game that we've punched our ticket to the Championship game. Long shot, given the teams Rice/Tulane are playing. But it is possible.
