Maybe TD will take UNT on a 97-10 journey over 7 yrs!!

After the last two seasons, we should do backflips if we can win 5 or 6 games. If more than that, then we should nominate TD for president. Scratch that cus he might win then we would be without a coach. Lets be excited but realistic!

Lets not forget Victor Gill. He had a great 2 a days and impressed the coaches.

Not fond of the "mean green" as our battle cry. Can live with it if have to. Definitely need to put Eagle on helmet. Even though we are a "directional school", lets not accentuate it with the script on side of helmets. Too long, too much copy. If we want letters, lets go with NT. Prefer an Eagle however. Our all green unis need some help. A combination of green/ black looks good. Refer to Philadelphia Eagles when they wear their dark unis. We need to spiff up our look for sure. Its a new day. Uni spiffing up definitely in order! We are no longer the old UNT Eagles. Lets get out of the box here.

Please give me/all of us a break. It was ludicrous this year and will be again for next season if "McCoy for Heisman" talk surfaces. He is not good enough to carry the team and cover for Greg Davis' incompetencies. Vince Young, yes. Only one VY comes along every 100 years. I believe VY played last year so UT has 98 years to go till the next difference maker at QB comes along. I am a die hard Longhorn alum/fan so I think I can make this statement. I say this not to diminish CM as a player and person (he is top shelf all the way). Anyone who watched VY in college and continues to follow him in the NFL knows what I mean.

I will say not one less set of cheeks than 32,000! We just hired the "Pied Piper" folks. RV better go ahead and approve mo $ to keep TD. The guy was born to coach and he knows it. It is his gift and we better be ready as 118 other D1 schools will take notice quickly. Christmas has come early for all UNT FB fans!!

Not trying to be a nay sayer but Snead appears to have committment issues. As soon as the going gets a bit tough, he seems to get going as in out the door. If he is a good and confident QB, why did he leave UT? We all know how quickly a starting QB can go down. He could wait for his chance then keep the job if he believes in himself. His actions hint that he is spoiled and wants everyone to bow at his feet and give him the job. Maybe I am jumping to inappropriate conclusions here but just being honest about my intuition.

Last time I saw/asked Tune, he was 6'4" and 205. Yes, he is a great fit for TD offense and vice versa. But, he knows that TD will attract top flight QBs now and will have to work his tail off to earn playing time. Daniel, Matt and Woody could also develop under TD. Its a new day and everybody is starting over in terms of proving themselves. With so many returning starters and TD coming in to refocus/re-energize this team, I would not be surprised if we challenge for the SBC title next year! I am serious!!

If Harbaugh gets an offer from Stanford, he is gone. Being from the area and Stanford being higher profile, we would have no chance. I really like this guy. He is my first choice. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Class Acts for sure! We need more young men like Quinn and Lineberry. In fact, I believe we have numerous class acts on the team for the future. Not all will be recognized for athletic achievements but first class individuals no less. You guys keep up the good work and continue being positive role models for your University and Community. The future is bright for UNT!!

Davis needs to go somewhere. Vince bailed him out last year. He is average at best as an OC. I would imagine Texas fans would love to have TD as OC. The guy knows football and can flat out coach!

All aggies are salt of the earth people individually. But....when you get two or more together, the cult behavior comes out. That is offensive no question. If they were'nt so jealous of "The University" and over the top with all of the girations and weird songs/yells, we would have no reason to make fun them. They bring it on all by themselves.
