my wife and I felt it last night. At first I thought the dog was shaking my chair, then I thought it was just a big truck driving by or something. My wife asked me if I was feeling that and started to panic...I thought it was pretty cool. It was just a slow swaying for about 15 seconds, not too bad, but very surreal once we figured out what it was.

Being a big fan of the basketball team, but not having as good of grasp on our team or the belt as some on here, I wanted to know what everyones opinion was on our chances to win the belt this year. I think he had 3 years once he got here. So after this year he has two, which really only leaves one option for him and that's transferring to a DII school.

We lose this game with DT. it wouldn't have been so lopsided, but we still lose. That was a good team at home on homecoming.

I get that mcnulty is the backup and he needs his playing time in the event DT doesn't come back for some reason or gets hurt again, but doesn't Osbourne need his playing time too? What if mcnulty gets hurt? I think this is a personal thing between Osbourne and mccarney. Otherwise Osbourne should have been in on the last drive, right? On the positive side, the second half was mcnulty's best football BY FAR! I don't hate the kid, but he's been horrible before tonight's second half and it's hard to believe he's that much better than Osbourne. Edit: I didn't expect to win this game with DT, so I'm not blaming the loss on mcnulty. Just trying to figure out why Osbourne gets no PT.

I don't have any tattoos either, but I've always said the two things I would get is some sort of tribute to my daughter and any future children and something that has to do with north texas. But The way we change font and colors, it might be out of date by 2020.

Good: the defense, they just keep getting better. DT, he had a really good game. I don't know if he's turned the corner, but I have to give him his due. Bad: our running game. Although lance ended up having good numbers, before his last carry he had 28 carries for 79 yards for a 2.8 avg. The running game continues to be average. (I only put this here because there isn't an "the okay" option.) Ugly: I sit in front of an older couple (probably mid to late 80's) who showed up to the game about 5:55 and proceeded to ask me if the game started early. So I had to tell them "yes, they moved it up to 4:00". The old man just shook his head in disgust and relayed the news to his wife. I felt so bad for them. Although I received plenty of emails reminding me throughout the week that the game was moved to 4, I don't think they received any notification and don't check their email very often, if they even have one. Just put a damper on things for a while.

My wife and I cuss in front of our daughter, it's probably not the right choice, but that's how we decided to roll. That being said I try not to cuss around other people's children out of respect of the kids and their parents. Where I agree with you is that people shouldn't be disappointed or confused when they bring their kids to a sporting event and a drunk man/man is cussing. People should expect this, but there is a line that can be crossed when it becomes excessive or too vulgar.

I don't think anyone is saying there shouldn't be cussing in the stadium, but that you shouldn't expect the alumni side to participate in a chant saying "mf'er".

Then I'm sorry. I thought you were saying a stadium chant with the word bitch was acceptable.

So, yelling "bitch" next to a 3 year old is okay, but the "f-bomb" is too much? While I'm absolutely against cheering for injury or chering because of an injury, the cussing chants while not that classy are pretty common and since there are no children over there I'm not really worried about it.

The one possible recruit I saw was a bigger, white guy (possible linemen) who had a red and white jacket with an "SH" where the high school initials would be. I didn't get anymore info from the jacket because it was folded over his arm.

I agree, but with Carey being dismissed and outlaw being out I don't expect much from them, except for bynes maybe.

Because this game was winnable! At the beginning of the year I didn't think this was a win, but after the game I see how many chances we pissed away! ULL isn't that good! How does losing a game to a team that you probably should have beat not upset you?
