We get the tougher teams at home and the easier teams on the road, besides WKU. Although with WKU losing Rainey I think that is a very winnable game. I think if we catch a few breaks we can pull get a W in Houston. Of course this all hinges on DT staying healthy.

My point was, that how good a team is isn't the determining factor for players at the combine. I just thought 4000 yards and 40 TDs in 3 years would raise enough eyebrows for an invite. However, I was wrong about lumping temple in with utah state and washington though, after further review they've had some good seasons lately.

No Lance. Honestly, I'm shocked. I know I shouldn't be, but i really thought he would intrigue scouts enough to get an invite. I know this doesn't mean anything as far as where or if he goes in the draft or if he'll be a free agent signee, but i was looking forward to watching him on the NFL network and seeing how he looked against some of the bigger names. invite list

These type of videos (off season workout videos) have come out in the past, right? Does anyone else get a completely different vibe when they watch this regime run a workout/practice then the ones in the past? I'm such a sucker for these videos! The season can't get here soon enough. I'm calling it now, we'll win at least 7 games this season and will go to a bowl. Lock it!

did anyone take notice to the "races" chart? trice, warner, b. davis and washington are all in the double digits in wins! it bodes well for our secondary that trice and warner are lightening fast.

Really??? Are you sure??? If Young can come in and knock off a senior in his third year of an offense, then he deserves the starting position. I'm not saying we hand it to him, but since when do we turn our nose up at 4* players....correction, 4* quarterbacks? It's a no brainer.

I believe it was bothering them quite a bit. There were times when I saw both with a disappointed look on their faces and other times with their head in their hands.

i too had a really hard time looking at the end of our bench and seeing those two. especially during the rough patches of the game and knowing they could have made a difference.

i agree, it was bad all around. i know that one of tony's blocks with about 1:15 left was a definite goal tend, but i can't remember if they ended up getting the a bucket despite of the missed call. however, the worst call of the night came with 1.2 seconds left on the last inbounds play for mtsu. their #24 completely ran over walton who had position, which should have been two free throws, correct? now, i don't have faith that walton would of hit both of them, but the missed called was horrible.

And now he's talking to their huddle before they broke for the announcing of the line ups.

Tony "accidentally" bumps a couple of the mtsu players during warmups while they are stretching. I like it!

daniel taylor ended up signing with mcneese. a 3 star rb with a 5.6 rating. it would have been nice to sign this guy. i wonder if it was a grades thing?

maybe to get his qb legs back under him and then he can hit the ground running in '13 at UNT.

i believe this would be his 4th year, assuming they count last year and don't give him a red shirt. he played in 09, 10 and for almost a half of a game last year.
