how the hell did smu, get baylor and tamu in the same season? i'm really jealous of their schedule this year. i'm hoping that the years in c-usa will bring better ooc teams the our schedule and to denton. while i'm on it, has anyone looked at the price that the tickets are going for for the smu vs. tamu game? everything i've looked at has them at $95 for upper level and end zone seats!!! i guess there will be about 25k tamu fans paying way too much for their seats that day.

Just got my tickets today. Did anyone else get plain ticket office tickets instead of the fancy season tickets that you are accustomed to? I bought my tickets at the end of July, could my delay in buying them be the reason for this? This really bums me out! To the point where I'm debating on asking them to send me the normal tickets. Wtf?

this was a tough one to decide. it came down to richard abbe, hilbert jackson, d.q. johnson and cooper jones. after minutes of debate, i'm going with "the texas stop sign" d.q. johnson. if i though cooper would get more pt this year, then i would have gone with him. his postion change intrigues me...maybe next year. i will defintiely keep my eye on abbe and jackson too, as they will have to play well this year for our defense/team to have success.

i'm going. where is everyone staying? i haven't decided if i would rather stay at the hotel on their campus, the team hotel (marriott hobby south) or maybe something in between. if there is going to be a hotel that is gmg central, then i would like to stay there and meet some folks.

that's too bad about the attendance numbers. hopefully they can get that fixed and moving the other direction. this looked like a really good time. why don't they have something like this for the men? not necessarily a football 101, but a fantasy camp of some sort. i know texas tech has something like this because my tech friend was willing to pay the $1200 fee for me to go, so that he didn't have to go by himself. that money paid for your food and room for the weekend and a actual helmet and authentic jersey with your name on it. i'm not sure what you did there, i think you run drills, play a pick up game or something, tour the facilities and have a dinner with the coaches. this would be something i would pay a lot of money for and would be very interested in. also, i think the numbers that would attend this would be worth the effort and a good money maker. i know it wouldn't be attended like a ut version or even a tech camp, but i think there would be great interest in this. does anyone else think something like this would work here, if the fee was a little lower?

Don't think he would be there since he started classes in the summer and he's coming in as a sophomore I think (he started at smu).
