  1. Teddy Roosevelt for sure. He'd have the knife and his big stick.
  2. Abbe "road" had a good game! I didn't look at the stats, but I know he had one sack and at least one tfl. This week I'm afraid might go the same way as the LSU game did. Although with everyone back, he shouldn't have to play as much giving him a better chance to make a play.
  3. Funny that we're playing them this week, but when k state was here two years ago, they did the yell on the link below in our stadium. Then we copied their yell to be funny or something (ffr or emmitt started it I think) and it ended up sounding really good in my opinion and it was the most involved the alumni side has ever been since I started attending games in 2005. It's simple and I like the idea of one person or the mascot leading it. http://m.youtube.com/?reload=3&rdm=m9y5z26qi#/watch?v=wIvij7C_0PE
  4. I think there is a happy medium here. I sit on the second row from the top in section 104 and while I'm not a very vocal person in life, but at football games I try to make as much noise for the team in what I deem the appropriate times. As far as standing goes, I would probably stand every minute of every game if I could, because of nervous energy more than anything. However I have some elderly fans behind me and try to be respectful and conscious of theirs and others sight lines during the game, usually asking if I'm in their way and if I find myself blocking them from play, I sit down. But, there are also times that I don't think anyone should expect others to stay seated or get mad at when other fans stand (3rd/4th downs, kickoffs, etc.). Basically, if you're lucky enough to be in an area where you can stand and be loud all the time and that's the style of fan you are, then do it. If you're in a seat that doesn't allow you to stand and yell the entire game, then only do it in those critical/called for times of the game. The thing is is that everyone who's on the alumni side is a fan of the school (also donors, for the most part) and the team and can choose to show their support however they want. And if we want to keep growing this program to the levels that we all want, then we will need all of our fans to do it, the loud and crazy ones, the calm and quiet ones and everyone in between.

  21. our receivers will be fine. i trust delgado and bynes will be better from here on out. also, it was marcus smith's firtst game, so i'll give him a few games before i pass judgement on his hands.
  22. mr. abbe had a rough game. he got pushed around about every play and had no tackles. to his credit he's up against some monsters and was doubled many times. he gave it his all the entire game, i never saw any quit in him.
  23. I don't think this was much of an upset. As it's been said, Ohio won 10 games and their bowl game last year. I heard earlier today that there were quite a few writers/experts that picked Ohio to win today.
