Give Andre ware over Howard every time. I listened to Howard for about 5 minutes and wanted to rip my ears off. He's better on game day.

It looked like the ref was already running up to declare we recovered it to me. I don't think he could of got the ball away from trice anyway.

I need to clarify my embarrassing statement. This was in reference to the alumni side. Now, it was halftime and I know a lot left around that time, but if the alum would have carried our share we would have been close to a legit 23-24k. I'm guessing 3-4k in the lower bowl at the beginning of the second half.

I tried to upload pics from my phone, but couldn't. From the top of the wing I saw at least 2k leave at half time. The stands looked a lot better from my lower level seats. The view from up here is embarrassing.

Little fun fact about the bridge. It takes 2:57 to walk from fouts parking lot to the hill.

While getting some beverages from the gas station at 35 and McCormick a lady was asking what all the traffic was about and a student told her it was for the football game. He then proceeded to tell her that its a huge deal and that everyone was skipping class because of it. That made me very excited to hear! I'm hoping this is true and that it shows in the area of student attendance. Now, its time to go walk the bridge! Go Mean Green!

i think the refs blew the call on the play where the rb fumbled the ball on the goal line while trying to extend the ball into the endzone. la tech should've won that game. f*** the aggies!

I think our offense can be creative while keeping the passes inside 15 yards (see k-state game). The offense has been lacking the last two games partly because a drop in the level of play by the o-line, but mainly because of uninspiring play calling by canales. The offense looked so good against ksu because he took that jet sweep play and fake the draw and pass to chancellor in the flat, orfake the sweep and run the draw or fake all three and throw back to the rb. That was genius because we kept them on their toes and they couldn't dig in against us. We need more of that. Also, the shuffle pass has never failed to my recollection and we hardly use it. He needs to step it up. I expect to see better from him this week at Houston, he seems to save his best for the bigger named teams for some reason.

I don't think he ever came back. I saw him trying to run it out in the fourth.

I also thought it looked like more. If last weeks numbers were right, I would've guessed around 23k.

were you at the game tonight? if you were, did you happen to see mac looking at chico with a wtf is going on look and chico not having an answer? this happened a couple of times tonight, including the first and 10, time out, then delay of game. on that one i think canales threw his hand up like..."yea, i know".

i agree. for playing as well as they did i was disappointed in the pressure on the qb. i was so excited to see sarge suited up and then they leave him on the sideline. why suit him up? whitfield was burned multiple times in this game, but it only cost us once. overall to have these problems and only give up 14 and around 375 yds against a team who put up around 500 last week against a sec team? really nice game, d!

does mccarney call the plays?

it wasn't the man who makes $550k a year that was out coached. chico was fucking horrible tonight! for calling what i thought was a brilliant game last week, he was just as bad this week. it looked like a kid was drawing up those trick plays tonight and troy was all over them, except for the one where dt overthrew a wide open miller....that one had them. chico and special teams cost this team the win tonight. in my opinion.

i thought these two areas were lacking, i couldn't remember any pressure on the qb and whitfield was torched many times this game and only bad throws by their qb kept them from being noticed. overall the defense was good. until the end of the game they had only one good drive, which resulted in a td and one long play that accounted for their other td. our d kept them in check.

i think conservative is just going to be our style, throwing deep only 3-4 times a game. i'm not going to say that dt can't throw the deep ball down field yet, but he does struggle with those passes. the longest throw of the night should have been picked, so i think canales was playing it safe. canales was very creative in this game and almost everything he called was working. he had a great game, but none of it works without the o-line.

Special teams was bad! even atterberry was bad tonight. if anyone has the game taped, go back and look at how far down olen went on the return for a td. he was inside their 40 and i think past their 35! isn't he supposed to be the safety net? why the hell was he so far down the field?
