  1. thanks for the heads up.
  2. While that was more of a shot at the administration, I'm with you. He's like a poison ivy rash, the more you scratch at it the more it spreads. I'm willing to pay skiver/Andrew good money to continue to say crazy shit on the basketball forum, just to keep him off of the football forum.
  3. i'm sorry, i'm sure this had a point, but i failed to find it. are you saying he did have more than one good season? if you're referring to his first year as being good, then he won 13 regular season games and two in the atlantic sun tourney, 15-18 overall. doing well in your tournament and having a good season aren't the same things, in my opinion.
  4. don't get me wrong, i don't think we will win 15 games next year either. i'm just not going to come on here and talk in definites, because only God knows what's going to happen next year, we can only take "educated" guesses. as far as jj, you think people who want to get rid of a guy who in his first full year signed a recruiting class like that and got them a better, not much better, but better record "operate in reality"?
  5. What you said about the hire wasn't even an opinion. You were up in the air, like most of us, so don't give yourself credit for saying nothing. Hindsight is 20/20. Getting rid of someone after a year is a knee jerk decision in my opinion, but a second year like this past one is definite cause for termination. If we were to win 15 or 16 games next year we should kick the tires for another year. Anything less we need to hire someone whose had one good season...like enfield, now that's a good hire. That's someone who is guaranteed to win where ever he goes.
  6. good video. i feel just a hair better about our line than i did 5 minutes ago. thanks for the update on ryan, dt90!
  7. the court was posted once before, but the cabanas are new. ridiculous! it's going to feel like we're playing someone from the aba.
  8. The correct response is congratulations Keith and fu*k smu. Someone needs to check frazier's aau coaches pockets...I hear they're a little more full these days.
  9. my bad. heard he's going to sign with smu. my friend in the know at tech is the one who told me.
  10. heard he signed with smu
  11. great story! pretty impressive bonus and one well deserved.
  12. still a step up from where we were.
  13. Now that's something to be proud of! Great job ladies!
  14. The long passes were never dt's problem. From my recollection, he's always been pretty good at it. Where I've seen him struggle is in delivering the ball on time and accurately in the 5-20 yard range. I see your point though, I've never questioned his heart and agree that he will give this all he's got.
  15. my tech friend said this is all contingent on chris walker being hired as coach. tubby had an interview in lubbock yesterday.
  16. it's not that we don't give them to "higher quality" recruits...it's that they don't accept them.
  17. Im assuming we have interest in this guy? If so, it seems that Benford and company are recruiting the east coast a good bit. I guess some old relationships from his marquette days. Coleman, ward, pj and now this guy. If we can establish some sort of ny and Philly connection that would be pretty nice. Even better would be those two and some Chicago recruits.
  18. i think so too. if you look at his rivals page, it shows offers from creighton, santa clara, wichita st., nevada and us. now he ends up at tennessee tech?
  19. i only saw ours. did you see them on another site?
  20. no. most publicity is good publicity, but not all.
  21. i agree with that and keep the color scheme in different shades of wood like oregon.
