  1. when was the last time someone has heard about nunn in any capacity from the staff? at the coach's caravan that i went to wesley and friar were mentioned, but nunn wasn't. maybe he's the one that won't make it?
  2. It's my understanding that the real stuff is served in establishments, but the beer water is sold at the beer store. I saw them at some club in deep ellum in 96, after white light white heat white trash was released. They's good!
  3. Plus 100! That's awesome! as good if not better than some the school does. The only thing I would change is that I would take out the split second of bynes getting knocked down by Ybarbo at the 27 second mark after the trice fumble recovery. It does make me laugh though.
  4. The Mavs are most likely trading down for cap room. And I agree with some of the others, a change of scenery might do him good.
  5. Looks like a really good player. I'd like to see some film against the pass.
  6. Day 18 of Panda Watch.... And the mood is tense.
  7. Cobbs was 43.
  8. This was tweeted by our first commit. @KEEP_BALLING_53: Got shaq to commit to UNT with me #meangreen #desotou He's already helping the team. Keep it up, Johnavhon!
  9. I know he's a project guy, but 31 is kind of low for just the Houston area. Especially when you see where the guys ranked in the 20's committed.
  10. Absolutely! Trice is on Orr too. @BeGreat8: @N_Orr31 come keep the tradition alive lil bro. #DoOrrDie #GoMeanGreen Also, zach Orr tweeted a link to this thread to him and he is now following gomeangreen.com on twitter.
  11. Please God, no! I want to see him succeed and Cleveland is not the place to do it.
  12. well, ut has 3 on the list, baylor has 2, i think a&m has 2, so it's not just one per school.
  13. I know tony worked hard and he's a great guy, but if he admits to "cruising" in the games, then what was his effort level at practice? And when your best player is doing this, then how much does that trickle down to the others? In my opinion, a lot. This isn't me saying the team didn't put in hard work, because i know they did, but that maybe it wasn't as much as they could have. I'm not saying this is what happened, just speculating.
  14. I follow this guy on twitter. He won state in the 200 and set the taaps state record doing it, his time would have been good for third in the state finals for 5a.
  15. I agree with everything, but that first sentence. Although I don't think he'll ever average more than 10 in the nba he does need that to help his chances of sticking around. I went back and found this report on tony after his first year, under Jones a coach who we all agree was not inferior when it came to coaching. Hope it works, I'm using the iPad and am not very proficient at it.
  16. When I bring this up, more than anything I'm referring to him running the court. It's the easiest to see and takes the least amount of effort. I would say he was easily the most athletic player on the court every game he's played for us, so there aren't many reasons or at least not many good reasons for him to get beat down the court by his guy as much as he did. As I've said before, this is also the easiest to correct, so this can and hopefully will be fixed on his part. I totally agree with you cmj rarely does anyone give 100% all the time, but I would say most in the nba do and that's why they're there. That being said tony will move up the board because of the insane athletic ability that didn't get used to its potential here. The level of success and the length of his career in the association will depend on this "motor" question that is brought up not just by people on this board, but by the guys at the combine too. Including Fran who is local and knows tony and his game better than the others on that panel, who calls him "high risk, high reward". I'm wanting tony to skyrocket to a lottery pick and be named to multiple all-star games, but I'm not willing to bet the house on it or even the Mavs first round pick. .
  17. Pretty thorough, but didn't mention Wallace at all when it came to dt.
  18. I'm pretty sure I remember this coming up his freshman year, but I'm too lazy to back and find it. It wasn't as much of a hot button as it was this year, but it was there. The scouts noticed last year or at least one of them did, someone posted the video on here a while back. If you didn't see it last year then you either weren't looking, you didn't see because your mean green/tony Mitchell #1 foam finger was in the way (this is where i fell) or you don't know as much as you want us to believe you do. I know you know basketball, so that rules that one out.
  19. what a swing for scarola! i think he was top 15 yesterday and today he's 15 strokes worse. crazy. i think us and memphis went out and got sh*t faced last night, they had basically the same day we did.
  20. the numbers i'm posting are including all 5 golfers. when you drop roets we are +8 for the day -3 overall and 12 shots back of 5th.
  21. sweet jesus! +12 for the day and +1 for the tourney. by my calculations 12 back of 5th. scarola and roets are +10 by themselves. roets is through 9 at +6. two doubles and two bogeys.
  22. the course must be tougher today. so far, only a couple of teams are under par. so, that's a plus.
