When this thread was started I believe he was just saying our competition is going to get tougher, so dt will need to play better and if not dt, then the d, rbs, st, etc. no one said he was bad, just has some things he can fix. I didn't think dt was the best option coming into the season, but now I do. He's proven me wrong in that way. However, I was shocked when I finally saw that he was almost even in TDs and ints, his season seemed to be much cleaner, but I guess winning can do mask those type of things. All in all, he's not a great qb, but he is a good asset for the team.

Should he be? No. Will he be? Yes. Him being in the top 5 in most qb categories will get him in.

This was the best halftime marching band show I've ever seen. That being said, half way through it I was ready for it to be over and started skipping through.

The thing that worries me about utsa is that their offense is good and ours is just okay. Our defense on the other hand is much better than theirs. We have to hold them to less than 28 which is probably where we'll end up. This is doable, but this game makes me nervous....but the utep game also makes me nervous. I just haven't gotten used to being good yet.

I've said this before, but that Tulane game haunts me. If we had taken care of business like we should have, then we'd be 7-2 and 5-0 in conference. Even if we lost one of the final 3 games we would win the west and if we won out the conference championship game would be at apogee. F'ing Tulane!

I don't know about the green chinstrap, but the white sow on a black matted helmet would be perfect. I know that would take the green out, but it would be a better look, IMO.

I had my friend who graduated from tech with me last night and he said that was one of the best defensive stands he's ever seen and never seen anything like it.

I sit in section 104 and a man sits in his seat and smokes his. although last night for the first time a event staffer asked him not to. to be honest that event staffer was drunk with "power" he was talking to people all night. also, there's a saying, if it's too loud....you're too old.

I'm assuming you are referring to the guys in red. They were there mainly for the game I believe and were being watched by security for the majority of the game. There were only a couple who had meunster (sp?) letter jackets on and one was decorated heavily. The reason I say I think they were there just for the game is because none had name tags on and most of the times recruits sit in a different section.

Just noticed we've played 4 teams with winning records and only won one. I also noticed that one game was the only game in Apogee. This game is a toss up.

When you talk about cap room, why do you say we're 31 million over? Honest question. When I look it up it says about $118 million and that's about 5 mill short of the cap....Houston is at $116 million. Also, we will drop Ratliff's and Austin's (probably) salaries next year freeing up about 9 million.

Most valuable team is not a reflection of how valuable the owner is. If it were Seattle (Paul Allen) would win until he died. He's worth 13.5 billion. Jerry is around 6 or 7 on the list at around 2.6 billion. The billion dollar stadgum helps though.
