  1. I would make a few changes to your top 5. 1. Brelan 2. Zach 3. Aaron 4. Abbe 5. Marcus 6. Byrd 7. Darnell 8. Boutwell 9. LaChris 10. Pleasant 11. Wright 12. Sarge 13. Miller 14. Prior 15. Scrappy 16. RV 17. A windmill 18. Spiriki 19. Derek I kid, i kid.
  2. get off the ledge, man. we'll get our recruits.
  3. We have the virtual tour on meangreensports.com, but I don't remember a video do all facilities.
  4. not having scholarships does hurt the team and I don't think that anyone said that every cheerleader would need a scholarship, but like baseball maybe you get a certain amount and you disperse them however the director sees fit. I know the mom of one of the cheerleaders and she was telling me about how the competition went and one of the things that we talked about is how it's hard to compete with teams even in the small school coed division because of the scholarship situation. other schools in our division are allowed up to 5 guys on the floor during a competition and we have only two men on the team, which puts us at a big disadvantage when it comes to stunts and lifts. no opportunity of a scholarship keeps a lot of potential cheerleaders from trying out, because of the time and energy they put in.
  5. Jones is hurt. If they aren't healthy I believe they aren't included on the depth chart.
  6. I know he played pretty good last year, but 189lbs at lb is too small. I think he has lost weight since being here. Glad to see minor up there and bean was a surprise in the top two for me as well, but I did hear his name and see him make enough plays to write down his number and look him up on the roster. The tight ends, I don't worry about Reinhardt or Loving (who I think is hurt) being up there because we play so many. I think T. Smith was 3rd or 4th string last year and I remember seeing him quite a bit. I agree that this isn't what the depth chart will look like come August.
  7. I like our chances.
  8. In four matches we won 9 games. That's an ass kicking.
  9. I've been watching to see hoe they look and...I'm not impressed. Qb play is poor, running game is ok and defense (especially the d-line) looks good. Swoops has 5 or 6 completions in the first half and looks uncomfortable with the offense. I've got a good feeling about our game with them and just decided that I'm definitely going. I want to be there when we beat them.
  10. You must be mistaken, that elusiveness came from a lunch pail that he carries with him everywhere. Hes just a hard nosed kid that keeps his head buried in the playbook...a coaches kid I think.
  11. yes, he's wearing that because of the performance theme. although, he looks better to me with some sort of shirt on, so get him a jersey and maybe he won't look as bad.
  12. That was a really friendly article by the goose.
  13. Edit: looking back and knowing what we know now, I like the 2011 season running backs of Dunbar, James Hamilton, Byrd and Jeremy Brown. Also, why is it so hard to find a roster from more than two years ago? Does anyone know of a site that you can see rosters of the past?
  14. I really like our running backs, but most of the rb's you listed for this year haven't proven themselves in an actual game. Pegram and Jimmerson are the only rbs to make an impact in a game, so I wouldn't consider this the deepest stable of rbs yet, maybe by the end of the year, but not now.
  15. other walk ons that earned scholarships were Keenan - punter/kicker, Lynn - tight end, Chelf - wide receiver and Wade - defensive back.
  16. really good story! she's a great player too!
  17. I missed the segment. where is he going?
  18. just have them the option to put it on their tuition tab, problem solved.
  19. I'm glad to hear minor's name. he is someone I thought could step up with scott and ellis and get some solid minutes this year in a reserve roll.
  20. Does anyone else see a picture of a north texas player at the top of his hudl page? The players hand is obstructing the number, but I think it's 80 (Darnell smith)...who happens to be a south garland alum as well. Ninja face
