I watched nikita whitlock in high school as wylie went to the state finals his senior year. he was the most dominant high school defensive lineman I've ever seen. he dominated 4 star offensive lineman during the playoffs. it was amazing. yes, I hope he is that type of player.

Called the mgc number and verified that beer WILL be one of the beverages they are providing. However, they are discussing putting a limit on the number that one can consume, but it hasn't been decided yet. Also, no liquor. I didn't ask, but there is usually a master list at the entrance. They had one at the la tech game last year.

I say you give everyone there a free beer during the second and fourth quarter if they are of age and a hot dog or coke for the youngsters. That way they would be there for some of the most exciting parts of the game. I don't know if this is a solution to the smu game, but it would be cool to see those seats become part of the atmosphere, like the most rowdy of fans sit there. Maybe one day being assigned a name like the wing tips or something. Then funny slogans could be attached to the crews as well like "we only play from the tips" or "just the tip". But I dream.

I imagine the offense to resemble the Georgia game from last year. Opened up a little, take some chances, but still safe. The defense needs to focus on the run, but stay careful in the secondary early. Last year we seemed to get burned for a long pass in the first couple of series and I think texas will try that.

If you go back to the boards of chico's past schools and ask them about Chico, they say he ran the ball too much and became predictable. Those games where he was the interim hc was Chico pulling out all the stops to try to one, get the job and two, help a subpar team win games they shouldn't. If he would of got the job, some on our board would be saying the same thing as the other schools. I think Mac lays out a general idea of how he sees the game going and leaves it up to Chico to complete that vision.
