i think the prizes/giveaways for renewing your tickets in march and april are probably the reason for this. hopefully there are lots of new buyers and not just the past season ticket holders buying their tickets earlier.

if having it just puts us at square one, then not having it had us at square negative one. while this may not be a monumental shift for our program, to say it doesn't help is just wrong. i would say we NEED it because everyone else has it. while we aren't in a snowy area of the world, denton is in a bad weather area of the world especially at this time of year. rain and lightning has kept us from practicing quite a bit in the past. so, need it for a legitimate reason, no. however, it's going to be helpful.

It seems like he got something against Shanbour, but the guy hasn't got on the field under two coaches and less than stellar talent at the position. I'm not sure he should mention him at all.

just watched the video. very promising! it's been a while since i've been excited about the basketball program, but i'm excited now. i'll definitely be at the home opener next year.
