ok, so it's not just him that worries you, but the o-line combined with him. i too worry about the o-line and if they struggle then any qb back there will stuggle. i personally think he will be better this year, but i'm not sure how much. i'm guessing somewhere in the area of 2300 to 2600 yards and 16 or so tds to 9 ints. however, i'd argue that he progressed during the season last year. not counting the smu game or the western kentucky game (partial games) his numbers (completion %, qbr, rushing and passing yards) got better except for td to int ratio, 2-1 in the first 4 vs. 4-4 in the last 4.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you so sure?

like i said. it's good news but we've had people on their position awards watch list before. they usually don't make the final list, sometimes they make it to the cut of the list right before the final list. that would be a great honor for him, but just not the big news i wanted. not trying to rain on his accomplishment, assuming that's what it is.

that's a calendar for August 1, 2017 - July 31, 2018 i don't know how much 2017 is different from next year though.

if we were to get him, then we need to have some plays where he throws the ball. in addition to his speed and return skills, he has a very nice arm.

you should be ok this early in the process in having yours by the first game. they are definitely better than just the bench. i think they are worth the money. however, it shouldn't matter because you should be standing the entire game like me. ;)
