i get it, but isn't this kinda like the concept of a baseball team traditionally wearing their team name on their jerseys at home and the city/state on their jerseys on the road? at home we know our team name and can take advantage of the untraditional jersey with little green on it and on the road we wear more green to go along with our name. keeping the players happy with alternate uni's and keeping the green on the road. win win?

It's not a bad place to be. Hopefully first place in the division and being a dog at home motivates them this week. I wouldn't expect English to play. No practice yet after sitting out for 8 weeks doesn't set up well.

i dislike utsa as well, but they probably will make the post season. it's just a numbers thing. they have 7 games to win 3 and utep and rice are two of them. odds are really high. they don't have to be impressive wins to get you to a bowl game.

i think the original point was that Littrell's only bye resulted in the team looking better prepared than in the past after a bye and winning a game when we usually don't. that game if i remember correctly, we were heavy dogs to a well thought of team at their place. regardless if every turnover was because of our doing or their incompetence (you're correct, a couple were gifts) we came to that game prepared and ready to play. hopefully, that trend continues against another good team after a bye.

the interception was horribly called. the hold was ticky tac, but i didn't have a big problem with it after seeing the replay. the thing that pissed me off the most on that replay was how the end for smu bull rushed our 6'9" 330 tackle and succeeded.
