I have them scoring 6 (on two field goals), one on a turnover in UT's side and the other on a long play.

I get the impression that the ticket office doesn't have the tickets. When I called yesterday, the man that answered was in Denton, but then I was transferred and by the way the man I was transferred to was talking it sounded like he was with the UT ticket office. He said things like "here at the South End Zone". So, I don't think you can pick them up in Denton. I'm pissed!

I just got off the phone with the ticket office and they missed the mail out date on my tickets (8/21) and I am suppose to pick them up at Will Call, basically they forgot about my purchase! What the F***? They didn't even notify me that they didn't mail them, what happens if I don't call? This year is my first experience with the ticket office and it's not starting off on a good foot. So, if you have not received your NT vs. UT tickets yet, you might want to give the ticket office a call.

Yes, this is normal or yes, I should be worried? How long did it take yours to arrive?

I bought my tickets 8/18 and the ticket sales person said they would be mailed the following Monday (8/21), but I haven't received them yet. Is this par for the course or should I be getting worried?

How the hell is a WR/PR/KR going to perform with a cast on one of his hands? Not good. At least it's one of the deepest positions on the team.

I just found out that my wife and I have a future member of the Mean Green Nation on the way. For right now I put NT football helmets on my cat and walk my white lab Denton in her NT collar.

Not only should you wear your NT gear, but when you see others wearing their green and white, give them a shout out. There have been a couple of times I've seen UNT alum wearing NT paraphernalia, so I'll shout out "go mean green" and their faces light up with excitement and surprise. In this state of giant colleges and their followers, it's good to let your fellow North Texans and others that aren't know that there are a lot of us out there and we're proud to be part of the Mean Green. GO MEAN GREEN!!

Since I haven't been able to go to a practice to see for my self, could someone tell me if the defense is throwing 7 and 8 men in the box to test the quarterbacks and the line for what they will see in the games?

I graduated in 2004 and had no money, but I could find the amount of money I'm talking about in the cushions of my couch. One or two dollars is all I'm talking about. Freshmen are coming from high school where it cost students $3-$5 to get in. What about all the other colleges that charge their students to pay to enter athletic events, aren't they poor too. If that amount of money keeps someone from entering the game they don't care about football and definitely aren't a fan of North Texas Football. I know we need the attendance, but it's just hard for me to believe that a couple of bucks would keep that many students away.

Personally, I think this should already be happening. I know that this might effect the attendance level, which is already low, but our financial goals would met quicker because of this. I'm only talking like a buck or two. Would this effect our attendance that much?

I agree with you SE. What this team needs is a qb that is respected by the team and Bomar doesn't seem to be a people person. Phillips seems to have the teams trust right now and I don't think it would be good for the teams chemistry to bump the assumed leader of the team for a arrogant stranger. Where as an ol would not only help the rushing and passing game, but also fill a vacant spot on the line next year. Not to mention you can't have a convicted violator be the leader on the team, this person is ideally supposed to set an example. Plus, my wife is the drill team director at a Garland h.s., so we attend every one of the schools football games and the word on Quinn was that he was a good kid and well liked. He probably only got that job because he was Bomars roommate.
