  6. Having a feeder school definitely has an advantage over schools that don't, but most other schools have an advantage over SLC when it comes to talent and athleticism. Plus, the learning curve for college level players should be shorter than high scoolers.
  7. SBC! F*** the Phonies!
  8. Has anyone seen commercials for the Mens BB team on ESPN/ESPN2 and FSW? A guy at work said that he has seen a few spots for the team while watching other sports. If so, it's about time that NT runs some ads about their sports.
  9. On the "did you know" part of the survey, are they saying we're #1 in the nation for graduation rate of athletes as far as public schools are concerned? Also, I can only find 14 sports that NT has in DI, does anyone know the other two?

  11. Just finished.
  12. Yes, just finished.
  13. When I read this thread I thought it was referring to the MM donation. This is great news!
  14. What donation? When, who and how much?
  15. I know, but I hate to admit it.
  16. I absolutely respect RV and all of his interactions with the NT fans. The first game of the year I had to pick up my season tickets from Will Call and who was behind the counter helping hand out tickets ten minutes before kick off, RV. I've got a friend who graduated from Tech that said he wouldn't be able to pick his AD out of a lineup, let alone interact with him in any form of communication. RV is a solid AD and I believe he has the best interest of NT at heart and therefore, I have faith that he will get the best coach for our situation. Not that interacting with the fans makes him a good AD, but it is an example of him going beyond his job description. Good luck RV!
  17. Actually, George and Craig were the ones doing the talking and the firing of Dickey wasn't the subject. The subject was boosters having most of the power in college sports. George agreed that if a donor committed that much money he should have a right to name it what they please. Craig blamed RV for letting MM push him around, blamed MM for strong arming the university and DD for not going to MM and asking him not to add this stipulation, because of the awkward situation and his bad record. So, there was some knowledg of the situation.
  18. Just started.
  19. What did you rank by, because whenever I ranked by base salary, he was 37 from the bottom (still not that good).
  20. Can you imagine this line up next year if he does red shirt, with Flemmings and Dennis?
  21. They swept NO and play the number one seed (MTSU) tomorrow at 5. Congratulations ladies and good luck tomorrow!
  22. I'm not comparing us to those schools, just the impact that a nfl coach had on those schools recruiting/records.
  23. Here's to the hope of a happy and loving second marriage.
  24. I think this is more of a frustration of losing thing, than a discipline thing.
  25. The Ticket just said that USM gave NT permission to talk to Butler.
