Sometimes if the offense is too good it can be a detriment to the defense. Take Texas Tech, their offense which is somewhat similar to what we will be running, was so good that it would score in about two minutes of game clock (hopefully like ours), which made their defense come back on the field before they were rested. Wearing the defense down by the end of the fourth. Our defense needs to be good, not great, for this thing to work.

speaking of next year. one of my favorite parts of the webcast was when dodge said they had this years recruits sewn up so quickly that it gave them time to start working on the 08 class.

What if the coaching staff new that Vizza was wavering on his commitment to NT and started talks with other QB's, like Nick Foles the 3* recruit from Austin Westlake? OR Maybe the guy on TexasHSfootball.com website was right about some suprising transfer QB that Dodge would be very familiar with. OR Maybe Vizza was scared away, because he had inside information that Riley was signing with us next year. Like I said these are hypotheticals, does anyone else have one, or maybe agree with any of these? Can you tell I'm bored?

I'm getting worried about Vizza. Usually a HS teams recruits will all sit down and sign at the same time, I think he's wavering (my opinion). Hopefully I'm wrong and if you ask my wife I usually am. I hope Vizza just has a big head and wants to be the cherry on top of this delicious recruiting class. GO MEAN GREEN!!

I was sitting two sections from the WK fans and they weren't doing anything that anyone could have considered classless, they were just good fans. I don't think that what Watson did was wrong, he was close to crossing the line of bad sportmanship, but he didn't. Yelling profanities to them is, talking trash to them probably, but I consider what he did as being a smart ass, something I can totally relate with. You see visiting players do this to the home crowd all the time, it's just wierd seeing a home team doing it to a visiting crowd. As far as the massive comeback that was put up against us, I chalk that up to the team (probably because of the coaches) slowing down and trying to waste clock with 8-9 minutes on the clock, it took us out of our game. I also thought sports carma was getting us back for the pit crew chanting "over rated" with about 8-9 minutes on the clock as well. Coincidence...hmmm? GREAT WIN GUYS, YOU GUTTED THIS ONE OUT!!!

That's what I thougt he was doing too. Speakin of the WK section, I think that whole section was nothing but family and friends of #20. He is from San Antonio.

Tonight was my first BB game and I was wondering if the crowd tonight was average or better than average?

I had a coach in high school who told the freshmen football team to "...grow some hair on your f***ing nuts..." and he wasn't fired, but was removed from that coaching position. I don't have a problem with either statement.
