  1. I like this commitment even better, now that I now he's grown to 6', 165. Hopefully he keeps his speed.
  2. I'd prefer Tulsa and Ark. St. to La. La. and La. Mon..
  3. Or we can do the first name initial and the last names first syllable like A-Rod and call him G-Od or God for short.
  4. That's awesome! Don't we still have one scholership to give?
  5. How much of an inside presence would he be, the stuff I've read about him (not much) makes him sound like a mike miller type of player. Also, I believe he would only have 2 years of eligibility.
  6. We could make that a tradition. No one in the stadium can sit until the eagle brings back an albino squirrel.
  7. Should we read anything into this?
  8. Has the price of tickets gone up since last year? I don't remember them being that high.
  9. 1. Reputation of the school (an athelete would rather play at a crappy big name school than an under the radar mid major school) 2. Being able to play and make an impact 3. Location (to have things to do in the spare time and for parents and friends to see them play) 4. Girls! Girls! Girls! (young atheletes are just like any other boy going to visit a school, they notice the hot girls walking by them and that definitly makes a difference, I know it did for me) 5. Campus (buildings, parties, living areas...everything)
  10. That's the best post since I've been a member! There's something about animal humor. As for the squirrel, I don't have a problem with anything about it, except the talk about it being a mascot. Besides that, I think it brings another unique touch to the school.
  11. Choke of the year? How about choke of the decade? Grant it Golden State wasn't your typical 8 seed, but Dirk, Avery and the rest bent over and took it like a 140 lb child molester in the state penn. The legacy continues for Dallas and Dirk!
  12. I know that 27 reps is on the low side for a ol.
  13. First ULL and now FIU, not a good year for the belt.
  14. I’m proud to announce that on April 20, at 11:59 am I was blessed with a baby girl. Landry Reigh Sims is 7 lbs. 4 oz and 19 ½ inches long. This is my first child and I can’t take my eyes off of her, it feels great to be a Dad, but I still can’t believe that I am one. Can a more experienced father reassure me that teenage girls aren’t as much worry as I think they are, I’ve already got the 4/20 thing to worry about. Now starts the battle of where she will attend College NT or TT (her Moms school).
  15. I'm willing to go if someone would volunteer to deliver the baby, maybe one of our gmg members with emergency medical training. I think I could talk my wife into that?
  16. I didn't get to listen, what was talked about?
  17. Thanks, I also wish the best for you and yours.
  18. Under normal circumstance my wife and I would be there, but my wife is due to give birth to our first child (a girl) on the 23rd and our hospital is Presbyterian of Dallas. So, we're trying to stay as close to the house as possible. I'll be watching on the internet. Go Mean Green!!
  19. I've already asked this on another thread, but what about Nic Pozderac (# 61 on DMN top area recruits) out of Newman Smith? It still shows him as not being committed. I know he would have a learning curve like the other guys, but he would supply some depth.
  20. It's probably best we don't make the shirts. By the way it's not very clever or original, someone can do better than that.
  21. What about Nic Pozderac #62 on the DMN area 100. He's still shown on there as unsigned.
  22. Poor guy, no wonder he seeked a job with that kind of authority.
  23. I renewed my tickets today. Is the west side of the stadium the new orange lot?
