i'm pumped about them saying it's closer than we think, but is that because they keep dropping the cost of the stadium? i remember seeing the estimated cost of the stadium a couple of years back at $67 mill, then maybe a year a go seeing the estimated cost at $62 mill, now it's dropped to $52 mill, has anyone else noticed this?

i received my tickets yesterday as well, i received: the tickets (renewals, this is my second season), two chrome car decals, a offer for a free ice chest if i spend $50 and an offer for a free hat with a $30 purchase. i donate at the $250 level.

I thought this could have been an opportunity for a new tradition for our football team. Either keep the number retired and have some sort of marker or plaque as a "memorial" at the stadium (although I know it would be difficult because of the limited numbers) or start giving that number out to certain players that meet up to a certain standard, but this sounds too much like the 12th man for A&M. I just think something more should be done to remember Mr. Smith, something more public.

Thomas Moreland?? He is listed as a preferred walk on from Forney, under our recruiting page, but wasn't there another kicker that was in the mix during the 2007 recruiting campaign?

Teams like USC, UT, OU, ...have guys that are third on their depth chart and playing special teams that could and probably would start on most of the Sun Belt teams, their just that loaded. So, having their starters out against ASU probably won't hurt them.

I agree with you on SMU and Tech did lose some talented players, but the most important part of that team is the qb and now that Harrell has a year under his belt they should be fine.

Tech also got better as the year went on (second half of the season specifically), I don't think this will be much of a contest. I'd say ULM playing a team with a new coach has a pretty good chance.

What's the news with Banks and Foster, are they out this year for sure? I saw they weren't at practice, but wasn't sure why.

I think that Roy Loren is a better option than the others because of his speed, size and cover ability (former corner), I like Higgs and Warren and I think Agbottah will be good, but for this year he was the best player. That sucks!

It really doesn't make that big of a difference, because he really never rejoined the team, so the o-line is still as weak as it was at the beginning of spring practice.
