  1. What was our sellout streak before Littrell came and ruined the morale? It's just a ridiculous opinion to say because he didn't "inspire" the alumni base that we have horrible attendance for our the size of our university. The simplest answer is our students and alumni for whatever reason don't care. Most will say it's because we don't win enough, but what about basketball? We've won three Conference titles or parts of them for three years and still have shitty numbers and the Pit is on campus. We need to develop fans, not get people to show up. Fans will donate after they graduate and show up regardless of how the season is going. How do we do that.....no idea. Also the downvote was from me and has to do with your opinion, not you as a person. That's what they are there for.
  2. Inside sources have leaked a picture of our next OL coach. Word is he will be able to relate with the players, he's eager and will work hard.
  3. Speaking as one of "crappers", to the other side of that coin...there are quite a few on here that are overly optimistic for little more than a fresh regime and a small sample size of success. There have been some good hires, but more questionable ones, IMO. Honestly, nobody knows what will happen until 2023 kicks off. I will say that, so far it seems we are going real heavy on the Jimmy and Joe's strategy than X's and O's.
  4. Cincinnati, ULM, Boise St., USF, Marshall and Missouri according to his twitter.
  5. Be careful of being too critical of someone, you might hurt their feelings.
  6. And I'm not sure what you mean by fake narrative. I thought this about him when he was here and I have a nephew who graduated from KU and another who is a freshman there and they said the same thing.
  7. Are you serious? This board criticizes the hell out of our players, why can't we do it to others? Have you ever watched a game that has nothing to do with this school and wondered "what the douchebag was he thinking?"...it's the same thing.
  8. That's the bean I remember
  9. Where is Jordan Morris (WR)? He was in the first 3 hires announced.
  10. Plus Nick Harvey in 2019.
  11. I don't think so. Most of those recruits have committed and starting late doesn't help.
  12. We've had those types of 4* before.
  13. That's not devaluing the degree/degrees that's name recognition. If the interviewer doesn't know UNT then it might be because the college you graduated from isn't that renowned. As most people know, the university you go to might help get in the door but what you do once you're in is what matters, not the football team's record. Do you think SMU's bad football teams are devaluing their degrees? As for sitting in cold, rainy games in Fouts, your preaching to the choir on this board. That's what good fans do...regardless of record.
  14. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
  15. Then maybe just for budget purposes. Moseley's main points were trying to get a proportionate number of alumni involved and donating and trying to get some of our facilities up to par with the AAC or just big enough for us to use comfortably.
  16. He doesn't deserve that pay yet. If he improves the program he'll end up with more probably. I'd say they increase the OC/DC/STC, well possibly not OC since EM is the OC. The position coaching hires I've seen should be paid less or the same though since they are mostly working higher level jobs for the first time. If I were to guess, then we are going to have a lower overall salaries from last year and we will use the surplus to assist our NIL program.
  17. Imagine what he could do with Brophy though. 🙂
  18. It's not his lack of talent it's his lack of experience. And I'm not trying to find things, this just fell in my lap.
  19. I agree on all but the Brophy point. He's been with Morris 3 years, not many. Two as a backup QB and one as a GA assistant. So, only a couple years playing and none in implementing. If you like this then you must have been thrilled with Quinn in charge of our QBs.
  20. True, but he was in the pros for 4 seasons and then a GA for 3 seasons. Harrell, 5 years in the pros and like 97and03 said, one as an analyst and one as a position coach. Brophy seemed to vanish for two years after stopping playing in 2019 and being a GA for one season at Washington State. And Morris seemed to be Kliff's OC in name only. All I'm saying is that this is starting as a very green and very young staff. It can change.
  21. If you consider Kliff's system and Morris' the same then I guess so, but I don't think the two run the exact same system. Davis is the oldest and most experienced at 30 with a whopping 5 years coaching experience. Brophy, is 26 and seems to only have GA experience. Surita is 26 and has the same lengthy career as Brophy, but isn't coaching. These are all estimates on age because none of them have much of a internet presence, not even a Wikipedia link. Not liking this. note, I'm I didn't include Davis' GA years as coaching experience.
