Funny! I think a big stadium announcement from little ole' NT would help swing a little bit of the momentum back towards our way.

I'm a little nervous. All the hype from the TD Magical Mystery Tour 2007 has now faded and been replaced with something bigger and better (in most outsiders opinions). The worst part is that it's the same style offense (for the most part) and it's been proven to work on the college level, thus attracting some of our recruiting targets (wr's, qb's and possibly ol). This was a good hire by the smu peeps.

I see this as a tactic to get more money from smu.

One of the places I think it does make a difference is in the recruiting, the more 3 star players you have the more apt another 3 star player will be to go to that school. The perception is that that team will be better than a 2 star filled roster in a couple of years and everyone likes winning.

He and Wooden have that big game mentality that so few players do and can step it up against tough competition...these are outstanding players to have for when we get back to the Tourney.

Did anyone know what it was exactly that got JJ so pissed off in the first half that lead to 4 free throws? I remember it being a questionable call, but I think JJ was arguing about something else that had to do with it....that was most upset I've ever seen JJ or any coach for quite some time.
