  1. Where do you live?
  2. Definitely a weird choice of picture to use. Also, no green trim on the BOA building and no reunion tower?
  3. Why would he be so excited that he would......? Oh! You mean dump!😉
  4. They would actually have to care about the cause to want to do this and most don't seem to care that are relevant. These are the only two that seem to care about the athletic part of our university. And I'm only assuming with Tobe because of being a former player. I've seen Eli Young tweet about UNT sports.
  5. Not the point. The topic is that the performance was embarrassing, not that others wouldn't like to be embarrassed as well. That was a pathetic performance. I didn't want them to win, but by the beginning of the 4th quarter I felt bad for them.
  6. Just bothers me that even our successful alum who played here don't care to donate. And when they do it's basically a "douchebag you" to the school AD. He literally has enough money to pay 1 million to name the practice fields after a friend to make a point, but besides that not much. Or at least not that I can find. A net worth of 300 million and he's not on this list?
  7. Good. I wish it would have hurt him more financially.
  8. Then they should note those somehow, so it doesn't look so ridiculous. My guess if there are some of those it's not many.
  9. Ha! Oh yeah, it will piss people off. In my world I'm outnumbered and would possibly be fired if I did something along those lines. So, I'll live vicariously through you.
  10. Appreciate it. Also, while doing research on his donations I came across this on the donations website. Please God say we have more than just these people/companies that donate at these levels and they are just showing a select few. If this is correct, things are worse than I thought and we just lost two of our top 20 donors with Wren and Apogee leaving. And UNT office of Advancement and Mean Green Sports properties are donors? Our own institution is donating to us? That's like when your parents would buy from your lemonade stand because you didn't have any customers. Smatresk also got a family member to give money. Someone say this isn't correct, please.
  11. Yes. I work in the field of HR, so it's probably more common for me, but it's a woke suggestion that people have tried to make the norm.
  12. Honest question...I saw that Ryan donated 1 million to athletics in 2015, but has he had any other big donations? There's the obvious 30 mill to the Business school, but I don't recall hearing any big donations for any sports besides 2015. You here about the Lovelace's, McNatt's and Warranch's, but not him. The reason why I ask is because some say it should be named after him and I was curious as to why? Am I missing other donations or are we expecting a big donation from him (please let this be the case)? I know he's a platinum level donor as well.
  13. He's saying compared to the size of the other players...while not in motion.
  14. We need the money too bad to give away naming rights for both the stadium and the field. Obviously I would much rather have stadium/field named after a part of our history though.
  15. Apathy stadium was the most suitable name for it in half its existence.
  16. For that size he better be fast.
  17. I like this one. It's a step up from TE coach in responsibilities but he seems solid.
  18. Brett wrote about this on Monday. Taking another chance on someone. This one at least has paid his dues.
  19. I agree with that. I think you can put the word "bump" a post and the mods will bring the topic to the top of the board instead of creating a new one, just FYI.
  20. I rolled my eyes because you just put this same post up yesterday. Why create another one?
