really? the dank is definitly a gateway drug... but no more than smoking or alcohol. people are forgetting some of the most probable drugs that pot leads to...prescriptions drugs (pain killers, anti-depressants,...), these make the most sense for those people who smoke and who think coke, meth or heroin are too much of a drug.

What's a decent argument for legalizing it...besides taxing it? although a corporation in the business of producing weed would be an automatic contender for naming rights to our new stadium...a match made in heaven.

that's frickin awesome! those animals amaze me. if you ever watch "...i survived" on a&e, there is a episode of a surfer who was saved by a group of dolphins from 18' great white shark. apparently they have been known to show sympathy for animals in trouble and surrounded the guy and started messing with the shark and doing flips around the guy until the shark left. pretty cool.

seems like he was quite the lifter 10 years ago. he still owns a couple of collegiate records in the dead lift (733 lbs) and the total weight (1708.5) for the 198 1/4 weight class. he also benched 405 lbs while at la. tech....stilll a school record. lets hope he can get some results like these from some of our players.

are they going to have a section of tables set away from everyone else for those that would like to run in the 5k and attend the luncheon? i would like to do both, but i wouldn't want to offend anyone with my possible body odor or sweat, then multiply me by however many do the run as well...that should ruin some appetites.

this will make for a pretty quiet stadium. will they be able to pump music in during the game? isn't there a rule against non band sound during play or something? that should make our game there a little easier.

No, the WKU and ULM game will be the two that hurt us the most. I expect more than 20k for homecoming and army and around 18-19k for the Ohio and MTSU games, but that won't be enough to pull up the average to above 20k. I'm guessing 18000-18500 for an average, unless we pull in 5-7 wins then it will be close to 20k.

did you notice that new york picked up a wr from japan and an og from germany?

i would love it, but what sort of attendance would that game pull? 25k? 30k? would it be worth it?

don't get me wrong, i don't think this will make a huge difference...maybe 3000-4500 (for a homecoming game), but i think that amount for only one game could be beneficial. money from ticket and concession sales, increased annual average attendance, and the possibility of attracting new fans would all help.

affirmative action is a simple concept, it's the people that are in charge of hiring that f*** things up. the idea is to have your company/location resemble the demographics of the surrounding area, it's a goal not a quota. if there are legitimate reasons why a female/minority shouldn't get the job then they shouldn't be hired and the government is okay with it. ...and yes, this process is needed for a good percentage of companies.

their appearances this month are at places like the ardvark (ft. worth), dans silver leaf and the rbar...are these venues going to pay 75-100 grand? what if there was one performance per year that was a little higher profile than the rest and they played post homecoming game? doesn't help the other 4-5 games, but homecoming might break 25,000.

this is great news! i was starting to worry. i think these additions (namely atkinson and weber) are going make the biggest impact out of the new additions and stratford, if he gets cleared.
