really? i thought the way he handled himself tonight was the best i've seen any christian athelete handle any situation close to his. first of all, you rarely hear praise to God after a losing effort...especially after he was hurt after the first posession of the game. i don't like florida, but i think tebow, bradford (i hate ou more than any team on the planet) and mccoy are some of the best role models this current generation has had in the last two decades (that's as far back as i can remember). to call him "douchey" is letting your ut hate get the best of you.

from my own admission i never really pay attention to half time...it's just something God invented to let the players rest, but that thriller show was awesome! my only two wishes for the band is that i wish there were more in it (to make them louder) and to change the choice of music while in the stands. nothing they have ever played has pumped me up (fight song doesn't count) and i'm betting the team either. jazz just isn't football music...chuck mangione has probably never been played in the locker room before the game. lets keep jazz in it's place...elevators and doctors offices. that being said our band sounds as good or better than any i've heard and i'm sure they are more talented individually than most in the country. i'm proud to be associated with UNT's band and it's success.

i too have been dvr'ing the program. this week will be better than the last 6 and the basketball interviews are getting me pumped for the season. question: did anyone watch last weeks when tristan thompson gave a tour of the basketball facilities, what was the rope about that was hanging on the wall in the frame/box? it said something on it, but i forgot to go back to read what it said.

or at least a waterless urinal dedicated to him.

did they only have3 or 4 3rd downs in the first? either way that is laughable for someone who hasn't seen running stats like this in any game this year, let alone the first half. we do get the ball in the second half though.

what the hell happened to the defense? it doesn't help that tobe is out, but still! penalties, quick drives (georgio said we have given up 30 scoring drives of 2 minutes or less), it's like the first four or five games never happened.

did anyone watch penson that closely last week? from the bits i saw of the game he did so, so.

low 50's. i think some of the problem was that people didn't expect it and weren't properly dressed.

i noticed hill not being on the field a couple of kickoffs too, it seems that when the defense has stayed on the field for a considerable amount of time during the opponents scoring drive they sub hill for someone else who is fresh. that doesn't explaing why smith was in there though.

i think that comes from tune's reads. i'm not positive, but those plays were up to the qb to decide who runs the ball based on who the lb decides to key on. this is why tune isn't the best option for this system, he's not a threat to run and when he does he gets nowhere.

it was run for at least one play earlier this year, either against alabama or ohio...i would have to think the later.

i have no problem with that decision, but i think the decision to go for it with 3:12 on the clock at the end of the game was a bad decision. instead we call a timeout and that screen play was the best thing they came up with. if we punt the ball we have a chance to put them at their 20 with 3:00 left and a timeout. if we stop them, we would have had about 1:50 to try to win and better field position.
