Unfortunately, with such a young team, we are going to see some games like this for awhile. Nevertheless, with the new talent in and the recruits we already have signed for next year, the long-term prospects are bright.

Not only that, but our freshmen look like real contenders and our early signees are dynamite. Things are looking up for the Lady Eagles.

Calvin Watson of Houston Madison has signed a letter of intent with North Texas. A 6-5 wing player, Watson scored 19 points on Friday as Madison rolled to a win over Sharpstown.

Mia Ajekwu led her team in scoring again with 21 points as Woodlands pushed its record to 4-0 for the season. The 6-3 post will be a great addition to the team next year.

Early signee to be, Mia Ajekwu, scored 20 points and had 9 rebounds for the Woodlands in a game last night against Bryan.

Cooley, you beat me to the punch. I was just getting ready to post that. It will be interesting to see how much playing time he gets. He has some stiff competition at the post position with Steven Briggs, Ben McCain and Cody Spring all having center experience in high school.
