Yes he should step down....his record stands on its on. There is plenty of coaching talent out there....who would win fewer games?...by blowouts?...just can't be done......gone baby gone I say. This progam has been a loser x 4 yrs....some students have not seen their team have a winning season their entire college stent at UNT....this is bad....let's correct the problems faster.

There is a lot of money on sthe sidelines for this stadium...you just don't know about it.....and TD just would not leave if he goes 0-12...absolutely the worse thing he could do for HIS future.

but Lonnie is way off base with the attacks on RV. RV is the man...he has had his heart into this job from the getgo....In case you don't remember...he brought us the AC and now a New stadium and if I recall the attendance at Fouts Dump is still pretty damn high to be playing in a dump with the worse college football team in the nation and probably the worse NT team in history.....I have faith in RV that he will make the right decision concerning coaching to UNT....new coach?...hell I don't know but the evidence suggest a change is in order considering the blowouts week after week...TD, thats not what we are paying you for...and I just can't watch the games anymore...just to painful and life is too short. Anyway, I remember all of the AD's prior to RV and they were not soooooo good.

I couldn't agree more than with Smitty's post....getting blown out in every game is the point...with no change in the trend in sight....maybe time for a change if 0-12 this season...just one more season where UNT is humiliated on the field and in the press.

Who knows....I sure hope they do it right and don't half-ass this thing...we have waited a long time for this so better to stretch things than to half ass it. We need to be thinking about us being in a better conference and being a top 25 team in just a few years. Let's not think small about this...please.

I too would like to express might admiration and appreciation for you... UNTFlyer; and all the work and time you put into this most important vote....you make me proud...I 2nd the nomination of UNTFlyer for "Mean Green Fan of the Year".....well deserved for sure.

The BOR and Legislature things aren't the problem.....creating the architectual drawings of the final plan is.....this will cost 3.5 to 4 million and take 4-5 months to do....so to get this done means spending the 4 million before all of the bor and legislature and higher ed board are done. Don't know if the can do this , but if they can and they contracted to have the blueprints done ..let's say in Nov, then perhaps with luck it could be done for the 2010 season, or at least part of it, but they have to get moving.....break ground first of March timeframe....would love to see this happen...would also help with recruiting.

I too have been around NT football since the mid 70's (mba 79) and know this can be great for the future MG students if the will get involved in the University experience...participate, attend events..parades, bonfires, games, events...fall in love with your university as I have....it will serve you well and give you many brothers (and sisters) in green. Be proud of your university and show it in everything you do....like you have this week with your vote for the stadium/fee....you have made a wise investment in your future because you will always be a part of UNT and UNT will always be a part of you.

I agree about Dr. B. Being from Houston, when Dr B has been in houston she has always talked up the stadium and football....she is a real supporter of UNT football....I like her and she has played a big part in raising funds for this stadium...calling on donors iwth RV,

agree...Why would you extend anyones contract when they haven't shown us anything except total humiliation on the field?

I hope someone has talked with TD or RV to make sure they don't drop the ball on this one.

Now is the time for the students in favor of the stadium to FOCUS on this issue....get out and get your friends to the PC and vote...this just can not fail and next week is too late for the "we should have....", "I wish I would have...." So, Focus...FOCUS on this issue and do everything to make it happen. Thanks.

I agree, thanks RV. You are appreciated more than you know. Some of us old timers know what UNT football was like before you became AD and it was not good....as far as facilities, support, etc....you have done a great job...this vote will pass and we will get our stadium. As far as winning games? well..you have some hard decisions to make, but that is why you are the AD.
