In 2001, most of the UNT football faithful were unified.... let's fire the Coach and start over. I know most of you will not admit it....but, I hope you enjoyed the 4 New Orleands Bowls that followed I remember this well....and I also remember that it wasn't until RV made it clear DD wouldn't have a job if he didn't start winning...his time was up.....it is amazing how things all of a sudden turned around...it made me wonder about DD effort previously. anyway, i was one calling for a rope also and I guess i was wrong....I just

A new stadium will help alot 22,300 is a great crowd for a 1-2 team that has won 3 games in the last 2 seasons. If we can't win in Sunbelt, why would you think we would be better off in another conference?...what?...we are going to beat TCU or Houston? NO, NO, NO to the Wac Seems to me everything will fall into place if we build the new stadium and win games....this current crowd shows winning in a new stadium brings 28000 to sell out every game. I really think things are going to be very different in 5 years....this is from someone who has followed the team for 35 yrs.

Last time I brought two to the UNT game was Tulsa, where we were humiliated....have not been to Fouts since then....will not be going back to Fouts....ever and will not be bringing guest to game ever again until there is a new stadium and things change.

Truth is we are so far behind as far as the football program goes .....well, even when we finish building this undersized stadium.....too small, no deck, cheap exterior, etc...we will be behind....most schools have already upgraded 2 plus times....even SWTS has started construction on their stadium tower and we haven't even broken ground...Tx Tech....upgraded two times alread...etc. Our competition is teams 20-50, not the teams 100-119...where we are always focused...perhaps because we find ourselves at 115 to 119 so often. Having followed UNT for 35 years I have never seen a team with so much talent do so poorly....guys, we have talent on this team. Even when UNT was winning the Sunbelt with DD we still couldn't seem to win out ot conference play....but without resources...money, fans, stadium, etc....what do you expect I guess.....well things are changing, but it just doesn't seem to me that TD is getting us where we need to be....it just doesn't, but I wish it did. My heart goes out to all of these players....they have spirit....God bless them all.

two max...probably good estimate. Ball state was just not that good. This team has a LOT of talent, but when has UNT had this much talent and won soooooo few games....never...this is poor coaching....TD lets this get out of hand too soon and then doesn't have the urgency to get back in the game,.,..then its just tooo late.....pathetic leadership....the sooner TD is gone the better.

watching them play today , I say if we can beat MTSU, big if....we can win the sunbelt....that simple.

If you are signed up for MG Premium, are you having issues with the service....I have signed up previously and it was ....well...."crap". Was down, go blank and just show spinning MG logo, poor quality....junk to say the least. Anyway, would like to watch the MTSU game and was wondering if it was any better than the last few years.....anyone?

finally a good analysis by an outsider....I sure hope MG can pull this one out....I do think the MTSU qb is more accurate than he is being given credit, but so is RD for the MG. I am concerned our DB's will not cover recievers tight enough, like in BAMA game. If NT can win this game , then they could win Sunbelt....that simple.

you forgot....fan support, big stadium, Big 12, Austin...etc.......I don't know about you but I would hate to have to try and sell FOUTS to a potential player....what a great selling point Fouts is....it is about time that changed. In 5 years it will be a whole new game.....just watch and see.

I am not saying this is not winnable game because it certainly is.....I'm just saying if UNT gives too much cushion to the recievers of Midd Tenn then UNT will probably end up with another L in the column. Midd T has a strong passing game and spreads the ball around..their qb has a strong arm. As I was saying after the Memphis game; I think Midd Tenn is the team to beat. It appears Vito agrees..." The Blue Raiders might have established themselves as the team to beat in the Sun Belt this year with back-to-back wins over Memphis and Maryland". So, if UNT can quit leaving points on the field, like they did the first two games, and can provide better pass coverage, then they can win this game and have a chance at the conf title.

When will our next win be then? WKU? or will we only win one game this season?

I am afraid this is wishful thanking, particularly with our pass coverage...Midd Tenn looks very good....us , not so much. I hope I am wrong, maybe this team will bound back and corrections will be made.

If you are going to complain about the money games...I have a source that says if you will just mail a cashier check in the amount of $900,000 each year, we will drop the money game..... anyway, if Ark state, ULL, UlM, Troy and Midd Tenn can be competitive against top teams....and yes I know the sometimes don't look soooooo good also, but no one takes quit the licking UNT does...yes it is embarassing and it hurts.....but I really think we should be looking at OUR porgram for the answers, not that we are just playing top teams so when we have a new stadium.....more funds for athletics, then maybe we will do better....maybe not.
