If we were going to be going to the Big 12, don't you think we would have buiilt the stadium a little large from the onset? This, if anything, should point to the fact that we are not going to the big 12. I think our current admin thinks big enough that if we were going to the big 12 they would have started with a larger stadium.

The first issue is the small pool of potential candidates. The teams most often mentioned -- mostly by fans -- are Utah, BYU, Boise State, San Diego State, Colorado, Fresno State, Nevada, UNLV and TCU If these are the candidates and PAC 10 is very interested in the Texas Market, then sounds like Dr B and RV should be having a meeting with them....tell them we will commit more money to athletics, expand the stadium we are building, etc....getting in the right conference would add 10 to 15,000 fans pretty quick...providing we can be competitive.

If we don't believe we're good enough and worthly enough to be in the B-12, then no one else will. remind me....just how many games have we won in the last 3, no..4...wait...5 years?

Yea....lets get a couple of div 2 or 3 schools to play....eventually we can get to a point where Dodge can 5-6 games...We could make the other team play in skirts and bobbie socks.

Damn good writeup...mostly falls on coaching...the reason why dodge should have been shown the door....I don't think the coaching staff and HC have a clue... would be interesting to see their response to this report. I hope RV sees this.

I'm thinking Thompson is the QB of the future with this team...the problem is TD wants his son as the QB..so he will be regardless of the outcome. TD better give a hard look because his job depends on it in 2010.

this sounds about right....maybe 20%, but what evidence points to him winning 7 games? He can barely luck out and beat the worse teams in america...and we are one of them and usually have been during the last 30 years. A new stadium and perception, attitude will turn this around...but that is not likely to happen until 2011 and after...and I imagine, with a new coach.

TD will put RD in as QB....this will be responsible for us having a major losing season again and should cost TD his job.....RD has been responsible for most of the loses where we could have won due to his turnovers....he should not be our qb....try Thompson.

The Mean Green improved in nearly every statistical category from 2008 to 2009. Offensively, scoring improved by over six points per game while total offense improved by 45 yards per game and rushing offense jumped nearly 60 yards per game. The defense saw similar improvement with scoring defense dropping 12 points per game, total defense down 70 yards per game and both rushing and passing defense dropping dramatically. How about the stat....win/loss?....that went up 100% tp a total of TWO wins.

A new coach would likely have a terrible season .....can't really be worse than what we have had for the last 5 yrs....esp the last 3 yrs. there is just too much good football to watch than continue this....just too painful.

this could be the case....it has been 5 yrs now that UNT football watching has been a waist of time....perhaps it will be different next year, but not likely.....this is what I said last year.

What about angery fan base if TD wins 2-3 games....sales and support fall off and donations go to *&it. RV looks like fool.
