I'm not sure firing everyone is a good idea...but the axe starts at the top...TD and if he has lost his first 3 games...to army and rice!...then he isn't the guy for NT....personally I thought he should have been fired last year...but maybe all of the changes will help NT win this year...RD not being at QB is a start...TD not calling the plays is another...anyway, if we are down 0-3 then we have waisted money on this guy and he needs to go...no reason to keep him around...and I like the guy! So much of this is a culture issue...changing the way NT looks at NT....our feelings about were we belong, what our status is in college football, etc....and friends, it is not good...we have to change this to play with the big boys...we need to eveyone who is a student at UNT to bleed green....support traditions, show up at games, etc. The attitudes at UNT need to change....I think the stadium is going to be a real game changer for UNT, And SMU is also paying JJ 2 million a year to be their HC....is NT going to dod the same?...I don't think so.

So having an interest in what the design is equals me wanting to expand the stadium now...really...why would I want to do that....expanding the stadium for one of the worse teams in college football, in one of the worse conferences in college football just doesn't make sense...does it....much like your post.

Does anyone know if RV or others at UNT are having any discussion with any conferences concerning UNT in a new or larger conference. What are our plans and how aggressive are we being concerning possible multiple conference expansion?

Perhaps you didn't read the SMU newspaper article where the athletics dept was blocking audit and cost info....reportedly they have a defecit of some 90 million bucks....that means the are in the red 90,000,000. Doesn't sound like they have the money....sounds like the SMU of old.

Look...UNT has had one of the worse football programs in the history of college football...if you think the SEC is going to add UNT to the conf. then you are smoking crack....UNT will be lucky to even get a shot at conf USA in a shakeup....it is sad, but true...I wish it wasn't, but big changes (like the stadium) will have to take place and these things take time to mature...respect, tradition, etc....time. The mismanagement of athletics at unt has be significant over the years and while things are changing...and fast, I might add, I still don't see a major conf in near future for UNT.

I think TD said in an interview that RV said 7-5 min or he would be moving on down the road....TD said that was OK because his expections were the same....was on MG preimium or the UNT athletic site near end of Dec 09
