Agree...I think there are too many changes and unknowns to make an accurate prediction this year...things could go either way...I am thinking they will go much better than most think...because...RD NOT at QB, returning starters, new/experienced OC and TD's arse is on the line...plus with the new stadium comming up and the losses in the past, just think maybe a change in attitude....but maybe this is just wishful thinking.

I did see the Ball State game...gave me hope, which quickly dissipated. You can't play well in one game , then turnover the ball multiple times in other games and be considered a good QB....what good does a running back do for you if he is a great rusher and is always turning the ball over and killing drives (and spirits). Again, I am sure RD is a nice guy and this is only college football...not life and death, just a game, but a qb in this game he is not. Lack of consistancy all round...except in maybe the turnover part.

I am sure RD is a nice guy...but as a QB he stinks and was responsible for several losses last year...all by his little o' self.

Your assumptions are not correct! Tax deductible is NOT tax credit...your actual cost would be $6250 x 80% x your marginal tax rate...say 20%...this is the amount you would save on taxes...the rest you pay cash for. so if this gift of 6250 is deductible (and remains so) then try 6250-1000= 5250 out of pocket cash should you pay it in year one. a little more or little less if paid off over several years...providing the deduction is allowed in the future (with Obama socialist govn't in place, don't count on it)

How so ? don't know much about this guy or group or exactly what they are going to do, but unless they are really a lobbyist for our getting in Conf USA, I don't see how we are going to benefit...not big on consultants....like gene stallings who said we didnt' need a stadium....huge error, that was exactly what we needed and is probably a big reason why we are where we are now. So, if you know more, would appreciate understanding more about this "chuck neinas".

because most on this site are like little children...they want to knock everyone else because UNT is at the bottom of the football heap and has been for most of our history....tyring to elevate yourself by knocking everyone else...just like children.

going to the WAC in its current form would be a big mistake....UNT will go to Conf USA within the next 24 months, if not better conf....mark my word on this....also, I will believe this stadium stuff when I actually see the stadium...I think this current stuff you are seeing is fake and done in a studio in Montana using blue screens and such....mostly styrofoam and cardboard, etc. all funded by SMU.

Not to mention FOUTS...I don't come to the games because of Fouts...when that changes, I come back for games. I am sure I am not the only one>
