RV is now and has been the best AD we have ever had....probably will be the best we will ever have at UNT.....what are we going to do about the win/loss column ? RV can and does make bad decisions....can he fix them?

This is the same thing you were saying early in year Two of the TD experiment.....even after all th changes....this is where we are at...still the bottom of the barrel!

The offense had the opportunities and didn't come through. The defense, save the last very critical drive, played admirably, IMO The defense was the only thing keeping us in the game....so I agree....but RICE was so bad....they dropped the ball a couple of times...sure TD's...this score could have easily been Rice by 14 to 21 points. We may never get our of the Sunbelt or stop becoming the butt of every college football joke. The biggest problems seem to be at the coaching level. We can't win at the subelt level and can't beat a 2/10 team like Rice when playing at home....very sad indeed for a school of 37,000.

Dodge came in four or five times tonight, kept the ball and managed to kill three drives. Once again....putting in RD was stupid...may have cost us the game by killing drives...and how many missed tackles ! WOW. A great performance by some of the players, but this is a team and coaching issue...and I thought our OC didn't do a very good job of play calling....just one more year of failure under this coach....It has gotten where I don't even want to listen to what he has to say....nausea and all !

Ditto....I didn't like the hire....felt he should have been fired after year TWO....and now I have to go thru more humiliation from eveyone I see...Oh yea...I live in Houston...even worse. Wait until the Uof Houston shows up next year at our opener....how many digits can you count...add those to the off scoreboard for UoH. this BS with the mgmt of UNT football just gets OLD....they can't even have a decent video feed for the game at MG Premium....for years...how stupid....putting RD in....how stupid....hiring TD...stupid....and on and on and on.

this service has been totally crap for as long as I can remember....I'm sooooooo pissed...TD, the video service...just everything.

this has just been a pathetic display of football....they look like last years team...and putting RD in at QB...sooooooo stupid. So this is the TD team in his FOURTH year....a loss to RICE ....they went 2/10 last year and they look pathetic. I thought there was hope after the clemson game, but I guess i was wrong. I can't support the continuation of TD as head coach under any circumstance at this point.

I don't think I could support TD to continue at UNT if UNT goes down to Rice in denton.....Maybe if we beat K state and went to a bowl I would feel different...but I don't expect that to happen.

I plan to watch on MG Premium also.....its better than nothing, barely....but worth 10 bucks anyday.

areed...absolutely crap...go to other sites and see HD video feeds...go to MGSports and crap...you will be lucky if you are able to see the entire game. It appears no one in the athletic dept...RV....are doing anything about this ONGOING situation....enjoy the game.

Great hire...and I bet our next HC ! Of course, I would like to see the MG go bowling and TD stay...means the changes done over the last couple of years have worked.

thats what I saw also....tune is the qb and a much better qb than RD....as far as Rice goes....that was just one more embaressment brought to you by TD and company. Look for our OC to be the next Head coach at UNT.

Ditto great 3rd dn conversions, off looked great, dunbar is the man, Tune did a great job as did the receivers...actually the entire team actually looked like a real college football team....something we haven't seen in a long time...very proud of the MeanGreen yesterday....they deserve RESPECT and I dare say they got it yesterday !!! Rice should be a big concern....I think Texas was worried more than they expected yesterday....our defense better show up.

several posters keep talking about UNT as that "directional school" in Texas....as if we are some little "nothing" school....someone needs to remind them we are more than 2 times the size of clemson.

Well said.... TD is likeable guy and I hope he is successful at UNT...but if not 7 wins...time for a change...past time. has been a huge embarrassment for our program has made many bad decisions played RD as QB...big mistake but, has slowly made good changes represents the university well from a personality and ethics point of view well know in area and with high schools many bad decisions last year is why we had another loosing season and I OFTEN WONDER HOW UNT CAN EVEN PUT A FOOTBALL PROGRAM TOGETHER WITH NO ATHLETIC FEE AND A DUMP LIKE FOUTS. so it is an uphill battle for every coach at UNT but the tide is turning for UNT, even is it doesn't work out for TD this year.

first of all....don't ask. 2nd....your friends are probably it...so count on a party of ...what 2 or so.

What a stong alumni we have !....indeed. We can't even get a few (ie 3+) to get together and watch the massacre on Sat in Houston ! amazing. so, anyone ? pick your spot and lets cry together as TD leads us to another great game !
