Agree.....this Conf USA thinking is in the past...we need to think bigger...if CUSA pops up with an offer then it would be a good move, but lets think bigger.

This video has nothing to do with us getting in Big 12.....you can't be serious....decision makers are going to set down and say lets look at this video and then say...hell no...we can't let UNT into the big 12 (or whatever they call it now)...really!

Being a football guy...I say thanks also....this team and JJ has really pulled me into the basketball at UNT...it has been a wonderful last few years of BB at UNT GO MEANGREEN !

agree...time is on our side...time to get in the press...with the new coaching and president...time to work the conferences from the top down...increase attendance, win some games...get our games and stadium on TV...so this delay in MWC adding teams is probably good for UNT...who knows, they may be waiting to see what happens with UNT because they really would like us in the conference for the Texas coverage...we are a very big school you know...very large!

An enticement to invite UTSA, Tx St and Ga St...these are NOBODY teams and utsa hasn't played any football...attentance ath tx st....8-10k..maybe. Why would you want UNT to assoc with these types of teams....we are already in the cellar of conferences...wanting to move UP. And what makes you think if UH botls for the BE...which they would if they could...that UTSA would be their replacement in CUSA...I don't think you have a clue what you are talking about...no A's for you..only BS.

This is a great deal for Nebraska...and as time goes on, it will be better. The Big 12 in now the Big 12-2 and will take another step down maybe sooner rather than later. UT is only interested in UT...this is true, but sad.

SMU?....well TCU thinks they stink and so do I....really SMU is a nobody private school and no one except SMU students and alumni care...and not that much. SMU has nothing and has meant nothing since they quit paying players back when Craig James, the man child, played football there. Why UNT even post about these children is just plain funny....says alot more about the inferiority complex of the poster when it comes to UNT vs SMU issues.

This is one of the better MG insiders in the last year...has it all, except Hank is missing the two beer cans from his helmet....and the stadium tour is much better, video quality lacking...worth a watch.

have we really lost that many fans in 15 years Yes we have...you are just seeing a cultural change by the younger students attending UNT...they have a desire to be like "the Big 12" schools....proud, supportive, involved at UNT...I really have a good feeling where this is all going for UNT and I think is is much better than many think...within 3 years you will see a lot more interest in UNT and its huge school and market exposure...I personally would be thinking better than CUSA, but it would be a good move for UNT now, if it happens

Well...it is accepting Poor Quailty that has kept UNT football where it has been for way too long...should expect a better video than this....this is by far the worse of all of the ones posted...I would be embarrassed to put my name on that video.

another crappy video job...who wants to see an overly compressed video of the backs of a couple guys on the tour....really! Its a good thing they are not shooting from dark into the light and it is great the video of the back of the guys is shaking...that optical image stabilization is great...and the interesting facts....so was this of the stadium?...or was it a mine in Chili?

This culture has been torture to change but I think the shift is big and is going to pick up steam. When crowds of students and community involvement picks up, businesses start to notice and want to be a part of it....because now it means money in their pocket from advertising, etc. There's going to be a big green snowball start to tumble down hill. We're going to look around in 3-4 years and say, "So this is what big time college athletics looks like I think this is on the money when it comes to UNT....the change in admin and coaching are big....the new stadium is even bigger...but the change in CULTURE is huge...and this is taking place right now....I have seen such a change in student support and students wanting to be active in supporting the Meangreen...it will only get bigger and unt football will take its place in the upper levels of mid majors....remarkable changes in the next 5 years.

If in the next 2-3 years with the new stadium and admin and coaching, if you can't avg approx 25,000 per game, I would say you are in real trouble.

I think we have to realize that the SBC is just going to be our home for at least the next 5 years and probably longer I think this is totally wrong...if there is going to be conference realignment. and there will, it will come in the next 2-3 years...maybe even next year...we are alot more attractive now with the stadium and change in admin and coaching....I say we will be in a new conf within 3 years...but probably sooner than you think.

Football attendance has peaked, just maybe that has something to do with six straight mostly very bad years of football. It seems to me that the administration has done a lot to turn that around. There is a slight possibility that a new stadium and coaching staff may improve attendance Really?.....football attendance is at a LOW for what it will be in the comming years....expect a consistant 25,000 to 30,000 crowd in the next 2-3 years with sold out SRO with major out of conf games....if we get in a more significant conference we could have have to expand sooner rather than later.

Would love to see a highlights video with the games and highlights under HC Canales...there were some great plays and games like K State I would like to watch again and again over the next few years.....Make it happen...RV....included video on the new stadium and its construction...maybe the BB game with Tech...interviews with Canales and new HC MacCarney, maybe HKS, bonfire,etc. Lots of interesting things going on the last year for UNT fans to enjoy.

But I remember being this excited about the Dodge hire. NOT ME....I knew he would be another loser HS coach.
