Nailed it !!! Watch his HS vids and you can see an almost "effortless and natural flow" to his play...he seems to "know the way". I was very impressed with this West Coast style QB...I think he is going to be BIG at UNT..

Maybe he has not made some of the best hires...in fact he hasn't...some were just horrible, but this happens alot of places..the issue is not FIRING them soon enough...ie Dodge. Well, we realize he hasn't had alot to work with at UNT, but he has done a considerable amount to enhance our facilities , bring a real coach (still to be seen, but has some papers, etc) and raise some money....there is perspective to be had...just go back 20 yrs and see the great offers NT could make to recruits...anyway, there are 2 sides to the coin and one side looks pretty good....and I truely believe RV loves this university and does his best...we could do a lot worse....give it another 2-4 yrs and lets see....and Dan Mac --less than 6 games and/or lose to UTSA and I would give you walking papers...RV should do the same.

I can't believe vegas has us by only 6...this has be at least a 21 pt game or we are in big trouble in the first year of CUSA.

Does anyone know if ALL of the football games will be broadcast on our site...including the out of town games?. I am interesting (of course) of watching the out of town games, but I don't have FOX, ESPN, etc Are you able to pickup ALL the games on the CUSA network, as shown on the MGsports site? Is there a local sports bar in Dallas, Arlington, Denton, Fort Worth, etc that will be showing the out of town games? Maybe the Pavillion should show the out of town games !!

come on...if we lose to a start up like UTSA Dan should be fired after the game...you have just learned what kinda of mgmt (coaching) you have in athletics at UNT....if Dan Mac can not beat a startup that doesn't even have a stadium he doesn't deserve to be a head coach...esp at UNT...to me, that is just plain and simple evaluation of your coach.

Agree, and when we have a play that works extremely well...forget about seeing it again in the game...this needs to be corrected as well.

It's not the whole game, it is just usually when we are close or ahead and the he shifts into conservative mode and they don't...bang, boom. pow...we are now behind...and when we are behind and the clock is running and time is of the essence, they are taking forever to get to the line and run the plays...they need to up the tempo of this offense at times to put the defense off balance..like many very successful teams do..just a lack of urgency when needed last year.....and at least Dicky won.
