You should edit that to read, "depends on the traffic from downtown FW to Western Center Blvd." Is traffic just as bad if you take Main Street north out of downtown and drive to Denton through Haslet, Justin and Ponder?

Tommy Newman brought in a slow it down, work the clock offense that was like watching paint dry. He may be a nice man and a good high school coach, but his style did nothing for North Texas.

I believe what occurred was that we had the inside track on him UNTIL Nebraska showed interest late in the recruiting process.

What a wasted scholarship.

Along with the new facilities, I would expect some very nice recruiting classes in the next few years considering the wealth of talent in the Metroplex area.

Find a way to get the bell tug across the track and positioned by the Model A. Also, years ago Scrappy had a go cart that he would drive around the track. It was the Apple Green and had the Fry era Eagle on it. I loved this as a kid.

I was not comparing this game and the Tulsa game from a competitive standpoint, but from the point of view that there was a better than normal crowd and the teams performed below expectations. This could hurt attendance in the long run.

I have the same amount of interest now as before I moved and have probably been to more games than you've thought about. Have I attended many the last few years? No, but marriage, kids and other committments kept me away more than I wish. Some day you may understand.

We started the same way last year. Look, I want JJ to succeed just as much as the next fan, but he's in-game coaching decisions are head scratchers. It shouldn't take this long to turn around a program when 1 good recruiting class or one or two good players can make a difference.

I live in Houston now, so being in attendance at basketball games will be tough. I still find humor in the fact that you are giving the "horns down" sign prior to a North Texas/U-LaLa basketball game. I am also aware of the difficulty finding a green tint. I would feel confident in stating that there are no promotions for the remainder of the year. The UNO loss is the equivalent of the Tulsa home loss in football. Good crowds and a chance to capture the crowd with a good showing lost.
