It's amazing to me that the department doesn't provide this, doesn't have daily practice updates on the website and doesn't utilizing the Spring, actually late winter, Game as a vehicle to market the program with a meet the team, pick your season tickets, meet the coaches, etc...

I find it funny that the BcS coaches thought Kelvin Drake was too short. I don't recall Nate Newton or Larry Allen as being that tall, and they are two of the best the Cowboys ever had at guard.

The problem is only Vito is assigned to cover North Texas. He has been busy covering the bball teams, and I would assume that he will be at the SBC tournament this weekend and miss out on all of this week's practices. The new sport's editor doesn't seem to do too much, so maybe he could cover this in Vito's absence. I emailed the Air Force AD this afternoon, and he replied that they would be coming to Denton on September 12, 2009. We shall see.
