Unbeliveable the Mavs traded their #1 pick next year for this stiff. I do think though, that we are in good hands with Devin Harris at the point. This kid has a nice overall game. If he could just pick up some weight he would be a monster. Back to the center position.The summer league team has 2 other big men who are much better than Pavel. One is a 7 footer from Africa. He is a keeper. Very athletic for a big man. Unfortunately, we may see a classic case where the better player gets cut in favor of the drafted player to save face. Josh Howard was also impressive. Y. Ming didn't play because of some phantom injury.

Thank goodness the 7'5" Russian can play point.

You sure can twist things people say. Your last sentence should prove my point, but somehow I am sure you will not see it that way. Once again, telling people their posts "aren't very smart" or "admit what you said was not very logical" is a personal attack in my book, maybe not yours. Your posts on other threads, as well as this one, made me make the statement about personal attacks. Look, we just disagree and that's okay. My opinion is that using a 1st round pick on this guy was a waste, while you think otherwise, nothing wrong with that. Just don't belittle my opinion.

Like I and JD stated earlier, it is not necessarily just this post, this tone seems to be a common one when you disagree with people. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with having a differing opinion, but when you use phrases such as: "I get irritated when people say things that aren't very smart" people tend to react. The above quote is just another way of saying, "Don't be a dumba$$" which tends to make people defensive. I don't really care if you agree with my opinion or not. I still think the 7'5" Russian, that averaged 2pts and 2 rebounds in the Italian league, is not worthy of a 1st round draft pick. Just My opinion.

I think John Denver pointed out how you are confrontational and have been in the past. You can chalk it up to "I don't sugar coat things....I speak my mind, etc..." but when you make personal comments about someone's post, expect to get feedback from them. Anstey from Australia was another big white guy they said could run the floor like no other big man. I wonder where he is now?
