  1. Don't have the score in front of me, but they beat the Hogs by about 20 pts. and drew a crowd of around 10,300.
  2. Good showing by the Lady Blue Raiderettes. TTech has one of the best women's Bball programs in the nation.
  3. You have to understand that SUMG and Scottie from the other board spend their time looking for mistakes in other's posts and putting a negative spin on all things NT athletics. It is just the way they choose to look at the world.
  4. Don't diminish the effect Tubbs will have on recruiting Dallas. He was a smart hire for SMU with his connections to this area, plus he was OU's recruiting coordinator for bball.
  5. It's still asking for the group number not name.
  6. What is the group ID#? It won't accept a group name.
  7. I haven't heard this, but it could explain the cause of the mild stroke he suffered recently. I hate to hear this because he is a great player and seems to be a great person.
  8. To me, that site is worthless. I get more information here than I do there, in fact I rarely go to that site any more. Outdated photos, articles on one game with pictures from another, no updates, for instance, the last pictures of the Athletic Center are from September, has stated "Premium Content Coming Soon" for almost a year. I would love to hear their definition of soon.
  9. Examples like this and GGII's are the reason the retention levels are so low. Just follow through on what you promise.
  10. These are the only two points in your original thread that hold true.
  11. What makes you believe this? Have you looked at her overall record for the past 16 years? Please explain.
  12. I don't mind "Fly Like An Eagle" but please don't play this 80 times a game like OU plays "Boomer Sooner" or Tennessee's band plays "Rocky Top."
  13. I appreciated the GB and our pep band, and I also appreciate the members coming on here and defending themselves. Prior to this post, 3 out of 11 were negative, so just chalk it up to a "few" fans that aren't happy. There's nothing wrong with that. You can't make everyone happy. I don't think anyone on here ever questioned the talent of the musicians in our bands. They are far and away superior to any other I have heard. I think the main complaint is that we need some new music selections.
  14. I believe every problem you addressed can be controlled by a good coach. This isn't a pick up team, JJ recruited all of them except Hopkins.
  15. Ever heard of Billy Gillespie (sp?), head coach at A&M? Interviewed for the position when JJ was hired. There are plenty of good coaches that would be willing to coach at a school with our facilities located in the middle of some of the best recruiting grounds in the nation. Please enlighten me on how JJ has turned the program around? Gillespie turned around UTEP in 2 years and has done the same in one year at A&M. How long do you expect us to wait on JJ? He's had four years, and this team got worse as the year wore on.
  16. We also had 15 games at home this year, 16 if you include the tourney. Many more than years past. This team got worse as the year wore on. A sure sign of poor coaching or a coach that has lost his team. And sorry, I a one game improvement in the win column is not showing progress, IMHO.
  17. Time for JJ to go. He's a nice guy, but hasn't produced on the court. It's also time to bid farewell to Slinker.
  18. No 7 footer Justin Howerton 6'9" Harold Stewart 6'5" Take away an inch to an inch and a half by factoring in that they were measured by their high school coaches.
  19. You forgot one other: "We had a coach that knew how to prepare us and make good decisions during the game." Jim Nasium.
