Maybe I read your post wrong. I took it to mean that 50% of the die-hard football fans don't make the football games on Saturday. I now see where you meant they don't make the bball games. I think you will see an increase in bball attendance once the program consistently wins, the program is properly promoted and they host some D1 programs on a consistent basis. I'll give them Indiana last year, but besides that, nobody wants to see Hardin Simmons, Southeastern Oklahoma Baptist, Pan-Am, etc...

I think these were more of a concern than the hugging/fire extinguisher incidents. I do find it interesting that these incidents ocurred at Florida and were kept quiet until he sign with their rival Miami. Makes you wonder if we would have ever heard about these problems with the law had he signed with the Gators?

A-Rod is a great player, but I am tired of people referring to him as the greatest player today, just my HO. He doesn't produce in the clutch and tends to build his offensive numbers when the pressure is off. He is a freaking prima dona that never put forth an ounce of effort to promote baseball in the Metroplex, yet there he was last night on a national commercial for the Boy's and Girl's Club. I just wish everyone would've stood to the side and let A-Rod and Varitek go at it. All About Me A-Rod would have gotten his clock cleaned.

Unbeliveable the Mavs traded their #1 pick next year for this stiff. I do think though, that we are in good hands with Devin Harris at the point. This kid has a nice overall game. If he could just pick up some weight he would be a monster. Back to the center position.The summer league team has 2 other big men who are much better than Pavel. One is a 7 footer from Africa. He is a keeper. Very athletic for a big man. Unfortunately, we may see a classic case where the better player gets cut in favor of the drafted player to save face. Josh Howard was also impressive. Y. Ming didn't play because of some phantom injury.

Thank goodness the 7'5" Russian can play point.
