I was just disagreeing with your statement that Dodge is marginally known in the Metroplex. I agree with some of what you have to say and some is factually wrong, but that's what makes these boards interesting.

Cincy and Louisville were never in the Sunbelt. They were paired with North Texas in the Missouri Valley Conference back in the 60's and early 70's before NT went Independent in hopes of joining the SWC. I don't know if the SBC has ever had two reps in the NCAA's.

Gene Chizik leaving UT for Iowa State The Iowa State Cyclones have a new Head Football Coach. ABC5 Sports Director John Walters has confirmed the Cyclones have hired University of Texas Defensive Coordinator Gene Chizik. Chizik will officially introduced at a news conference tonight at 6 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum.

Wish our old Head Coach had the same attitude and taught his players to feel the same way towards the fans, students and alumni. I hope we find someone like Graham. Something tells me his situation was much tougher than DD's.
