Here is the problem. We don't have enough fans that will suppport the program through thick and thin. The first sign that things aren't going the way they want them to, and they go away. Money is a huge issue, but the admin. needs to stay the course and let RV do his job!

Once again, stadium funding, or any funding for athletic facilities, is all done through private donations. If alums give and state that they want the money to go specifically to athletics, then LJ can't touch it for NT-Dallas.

Maybe RV should be trying to contact one of these people. You never know what might happen. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Here's my idea. Stop your support of everything but athletics. Divert all of your donations to athletics. Let LJ's dream of UNT Dallas die on the vine. If you bought season tickets last year buy two extra this year. If you weren't in the Mean Green Club, join. If you were in the MGC, up your donation. This would allow the athletic department to promote the program the way we all want, build the facilities NT deserves, buy out bad contracts and provide our student-athletes with the tools to succeed. By not contributing to other areas you don't allow LJ to win. Currently he is by discouraging many alums from giving to the AD.

Thursday or Saturday, does it really matter? For reasons beyond my comprehension, the NT athletic department fails year after year after year to take advantage of prime promotional opportunities. There is absolutely no excuse for this.

This is an embarrasment. It is time for JJ to go. There is absolutely no reason to keep him here anymore as the head coach. Nice man, but he can't get it done.

It's amazing to me that the department doesn't provide this, doesn't have daily practice updates on the website and doesn't utilizing the Spring, actually late winter, Game as a vehicle to market the program with a meet the team, pick your season tickets, meet the coaches, etc...

I find it funny that the BcS coaches thought Kelvin Drake was too short. I don't recall Nate Newton or Larry Allen as being that tall, and they are two of the best the Cowboys ever had at guard.

The problem is only Vito is assigned to cover North Texas. He has been busy covering the bball teams, and I would assume that he will be at the SBC tournament this weekend and miss out on all of this week's practices. The new sport's editor doesn't seem to do too much, so maybe he could cover this in Vito's absence.
