  1. Any update on your progress? Still getting a blank screen.
  2. Here is the response I received this morning:
  3. Well, the broadcasters and people at the game are idiots. Speed of the game my arse. Didn't Jamario run for 200+ against Colorado in 2004? You don't do that without speed. Didn't Cobbs lead the nation in rushing in 2003? Again, you don't do that without speed. Plain and simple, the refs called a bad game. Someone mentioned in another thread about other games where the refs have had a bad night that all had BcS conference officials, and the speed of the game was never called into question. Examples: The Stanford/Cal came when the band was all over the field, no penalties. Orange Bowl with Colorado/Notre Dame where an extra down was given to Colorado. UT/NT: so-called winning catch where the receiver was three yards out of the endzone.
  4. North Texas sponsors the NCAA mandated 16 sports: Football Men's Basketball Women's Basketball Men's Cross Country Women's Cross Country Men's Golf Women's Golf Women's Soccer Softball Women's Swimming Women's Tennis Men's Indoor Track Women's Indoor Track Men's Outdoor Track Women's Outdoor Track Volleyball We will also be adding Baseball in the very near future, so an additional women's sport will also be added to remain Title IX compliant.
  5. Don't tell the team it is vacation time.
  6. Would someone with knowledge of the recruiting dates list them on here? The information I'm referring to is when is the dead period, contact period, signing day, etc... I seem to remember that National Signing Day is Feb. 1st, but didn't know the other information. Thanks
  7. Using your rationale above, how in the world did SMU, Houston and Rice get invited to CUSA??? The amount of sports funded in mandated to be Division 1A, so your arguement is not entirely true. Now, maybe the Big 12 states that you must have certain sports such as baseball, etc... Every improvement done to any athletic facility at any university in Texas must be done with private donations not state money.
  8. We are pleased with these signings: Rivals But the best may be our transfer from Arizona State, Keith Wooden, a 6' 9" 245lb. power forward.
  9. Maybe ol' PHS Coach could enlighten us all.
  10. I seem to recall a saying about the grass being greener
  11. Son of a B%)^&!!! eulesseagle has turned into PMG.
  12. For all of you that want to jump to the WAC just take a look at La Tech and their financial situation due to the travel costs.
  13. True, but that OL is 6'5", so I would assume that he has the frame to add much more weight. NT's 230 lbs. line recruits are all 5' 10" to 6'!
  14. ????????????????????? All we want are cheerleaders that show up and cheer. Is that too much to ask for? What has been expressed to the cheerleaders? What has the administration demonstrated?
  15. Box Score from Yahoo.com Box Score Harold Edwards had a good night by the looks of his line: 8pts., 8 rebounds and 1 block in 10 minutes. The attendance was rough, but considering the opponent and the time of the year, I guess that is to be expected. Article from MeanGreenSports.com
  16. So true. Most coaches are given 4 or 5 years to turn their program around and get their recruits through the system. DD's been given 8 and the program is now headed in the wrong direction. This "stealth" recruiting is the same attitude he takes in preparing for OOC games. He does this because deep down DD doesn't believe he can compete with the "big boys." A team will always reflect the attitude of its coach/leader.
  17. That's kind of like saying C-USA embarrassed itself by allowing you to be a fan. Some things are just out of our control.
