  1. I applaud you for your high standards!
  2. I'm trying to figure out how a hand injury that requires two pins and a wire to repair will allow him to return in a "few days."
  3. I'm 40 and that's the damn truth!
  4. Welcome to the board, and, BTW, Brad Kassell is with the Jets.
  5. That is good to hear. When did she state this?
  6. Nope. Mom informed me that #2 was the last. Now about that Marvin Gaye music.....well....."Let's Get It On!"
  7. Chomp, What would you say is the stance of the faculty, as a whole, towards athletics these days?
  8. Two Boys: Chase: 4 years Ben: 10 months & 2 days Both are a load of fun, but poor Mom doesn't know what to do with 3 boys in the house!
  9. I agree with letting this play out, but I'm against recruiting "bad character" for North Texas. Do it the right way with the right players.
  10. Mine? Nolan Ryan's 5,000 strikeout.
  11. Birdville WR Jason Martinson (reminds me of North Texas star Johnny Quinn)
  12. From ESPN.com article.
  13. None of these factor in the quality of education received.
  14. Based on JUCO stats, Muse is the big loss.
  15. One of their posters threw out "weed and North Texas" in a post, so I asked if their on-campus speed lab was still up and running. Guess the truth hurts sometimes.
  16. I'm confused. We can't execute the Center/QB exchange, but then the center is singled out as being "one of a few bright spots."
  17. Throw OU and Army, Navy or Air Force and I'm good. RV won't use TX Stadium.
  18. I worked with Dr. Vaughan at the Landry Center. His hiring is a major feather in the hat for NT. He works with multiple Olympians every year and runs one of the most successful marathon training programs around. Great hire. Oldtimer, where did you find this article?
  19. The students should come to watch North Texas and not care who we play. The statement above is what pisses me off the most.
  20. How can you rate our current classes when most of those kids haven't been on the field yet. If you look at the current, or last few issues, DCTF you will notice that most of NT's recruiting classes have been poorly rated at the time the class was signed, but turned out to be pretty good classes once the kids matured. I agree with most of your post, but I just can't see criticizing a class before they hit the field. Are our classes of the caliber that we will challenge for the BcS Championship in 4 years? Probably not, but they aren't going to until we move up in conference, build a new stadium, see some support of the program as a whole from the administration, and increase season ticket sales and MG Club members.
