  1. Typical Aggies, you put the plywood on the exterior not the interior.
  2. This post made my laugh twice. Actually, the first time I read it my emotions ran from appalled to, well, appalled.
  3. Please tell me how North Texas playing a Jack Ingram song is being "infiltrated by the enemy." It's a song not the Chancellor of the university.
  4. Then should your university's ring state TSU-SM? I'm well aware of the name change, but living in Houston, TSU has been the call letters for Texas Southern for years. Sarcasm and humor are just lost on some people, and obviously the intellectually gifted from the Harvard on the Guadalupe/Comal.
  5. Now that's a good description of SMUt. Who cares if Ingram went to SMU, the song is appropriate. I suggest we try to get Elmer's glue to sponsor a give-away for the game.
  6. Anybody have access to what players are attending?
  7. I would love a copy and would also be willing to pay for it. I have a feeling you could make a little money on this deal is so inclined.
  8. Maybe someone should alert ESPN to the fact that we are larger than the 21,509 they have listed.
  9. You should be paraded in front of the firing squad.
  10. These are meaningless numbers used to attract readers. As stated in another thread, or earlier in this one, Texas Football has gone back and graded the recruiting classes based on their success over the past 4 to 5 years, and North Texas has been ranked #3 or #4 in Texas the last few years. These classes were ranked near the bottom of the rankings on signing day. You can't judge recruits based upon their HS production. Fry signed the number 1 player in the state, Milton Collins, who ended up having a very ho-hum career.
  11. Startle Gram Article
  12. Please Dear Lord, no Dungeons and Dragons references on a sports message board. I beg of You!
  13. He's a nominee, he hasn't been inducted.
  14. Here are some great links to stories about Mr. Haynes success and the events he had to overcome during his playing era. Texans/Chiefs website North Texan Archives
  15. Below is the link showing Abner Haynes being listed as a candidate for the 2006 Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Personally, I think his induction is long overdue considering the era he played in, the harrassment he endured and the success he realized. TSHOF Candidate List Below is the link to the list of the Selection Committee. I would like to start an email drive by all of us in support of his election. Please email the member's of the selection committee and ask, in a nice and tactful manner, for them to consider Mr. Haynes for induction. There is also an opportunity for the public to vote. You must pay $25.00 for membership to have this opportunity. TSHOF Selection Committee
  16. Quoner, which underclassman do you have your eye on to take the place of Johnny Q when he graduates?
  17. They can verbally commit.
  18. Here's a good article from www.Texasfootball.com on a couple of QB's from the Houston area still available. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear either one has been to our camp. Click here
  19. Was it this one? www.lids.com
  20. NT's spelling program, unfortunately, is not top-notch.
  21. I think it is more an issue of BcS programs wanting kickers to walk-on and try out for the team. North Texas offered the security of a scholarship.
