  1. Florida ain't Texas.
  2. 93 Mazda MX6 with 162,000 + miles on it. Gets 32 mpg in Houston traffic. Only drive it to and from work and will until it dies. Doesn't burn any oil, and a mechanic told me recently that it could last another 100,000+. Wife has a Maxima that gets 28mpg.
  3. I thought I read that Wilson had 3 years of eligibility remaining. Not sure about Loren.
  4. I applaud you for your high standards!
  5. I'm trying to figure out how a hand injury that requires two pins and a wire to repair will allow him to return in a "few days."
  6. I'm 40 and that's the damn truth!
  7. Welcome to the board, and, BTW, Brad Kassell is with the Jets.
  8. That is good to hear. When did she state this?
  9. Nope. Mom informed me that #2 was the last. Now about that Marvin Gaye music.....well....."Let's Get It On!"
  10. Chomp, What would you say is the stance of the faculty, as a whole, towards athletics these days?
  11. Two Boys: Chase: 4 years Ben: 10 months & 2 days Both are a load of fun, but poor Mom doesn't know what to do with 3 boys in the house!
  12. I agree with letting this play out, but I'm against recruiting "bad character" for North Texas. Do it the right way with the right players.
  13. Mine? Nolan Ryan's 5,000 strikeout.
  14. Birdville WR Jason Martinson (reminds me of North Texas star Johnny Quinn)
  15. From ESPN.com article.
  16. None of these factor in the quality of education received.
  17. Based on JUCO stats, Muse is the big loss.
  18. One of their posters threw out "weed and North Texas" in a post, so I asked if their on-campus speed lab was still up and running. Guess the truth hurts sometimes.
  19. I'm confused. We can't execute the Center/QB exchange, but then the center is singled out as being "one of a few bright spots."
  20. Throw OU and Army, Navy or Air Force and I'm good. RV won't use TX Stadium.
  21. I worked with Dr. Vaughan at the Landry Center. His hiring is a major feather in the hat for NT. He works with multiple Olympians every year and runs one of the most successful marathon training programs around. Great hire. Oldtimer, where did you find this article?
