  1. Here's the Committments and Signings page: rivals.com BTW, Mr. Insall is not listed in their database.
  2. For those in Denton and on campus, this weekend would be a great opportunity to tailgate and support a winning program. Games are Friday @ 7:00pm and Sunday @ 1:00pm.
  3. Based upon his grasp of the English language and proper grammer, I can see why he was highly sought after for this position.
  4. Announcer = Lamar Thomas, former UM receiver. Surprised now? I didn't think so.
  5. This is the most encouraging part to me. I don't know if they offered, but if he attended these camps and comments that NT's facilities are "Fantastic," then I am encouraged.
  6. In related news, the University of Miami inducted 18 members of their team into their school's Hall of Fame for "behavior reinforcing the traditions of our program." Lamar Thomas, color commentator on the broadcast and former UM receiver, was the recipient of an honorary doctorate.
  7. You seem to be contradicting yourself definition
  8. My intention was exactly what GrayEagleOne stated above. I would assume, yes, I know what happens, that based on your location that you are the parent of one of the players. Please know that I mean absolutely nothing derogatory from the post, but recruiting is what feeds the program, just as the draft feeds the professional teams. I too am proud of the effort and devotion the young men that have stuck around have made to the program, but I also know that this isn't high school anymore. These young men are given a free education based upon their athletic skills, so you could say they are paid. Every recruit is rated coming out of high school. Does that suck too? Texas Football, and I'm sure many other publications, revisit and rate recruiting classes annually. Is that a stupid topic? Again, I certainly didn't mean to offend any parents of current players, because I respect their effort, but when you play major college ball it comes with the territory.
  9. Pruitt was the star of the class. Chambers and Nobles provided valuable depth on the OL as JUCO transfers. Holman is turning into a great linebacker. Bailey, Baldwin, Byerly, Harrison, Ieans, Curt Jones (Never set foot on campus) and Raymond are all gone. Dupree and Hutchinson never lived up to expectations. McNac was another JUCO that added depth at LB. Dupree Jones was sent to a JUCO and never contributed much. The rest are servicable but aren't impact players. I would say 10 of the 24 were busts, and NT can't afford to have over 40% of a class not contribute.
  10. I thought he was upset, because the Okie on his left/our right crushed his Marlboros.

  12. Now that's my kind of publicity. Where does the Texas Shankfest rank in comparison with, say, the Ice Bowl?
  13. Umm, I was referring to Bowling Green, Kentucky where Western Kentucky is located. Bowling Green University is in Ohio.
  14. I feel like Vito and Goodall should have ended each of their answers with "Umm, yeah, that's the ticket."
  15. But when mentioning the footprint of the conference he mentions Bowling Green.
  16. Yes, but to be more precise it would/should read, "Booty to No Booty to Moody."
  17. As many people state on here from time to time, we will just have to agree to disagree. I think inept offense led to 7 OT's, you think dominate defense. It's a chicken or the egg type of thing.
  18. You are right, so why do I feel like we were on the receiving end of a no-hitter?
  19. And I'm sure there are OU fans that hate "Boomer Sooner" and UT fans that hate "The Eyes of Texas" and Tennessee fans that hate "Rocky Top" and ......
  20. The last time we beat TTech was almost 10 years ago. We hung "half a hundred" on a Baylor team that was lower than low, and I wouldn't consider that an upset. Yes, we beat SMUt, but at the time, I would consider the teams pretty evenly matched.
