  1. Harry, I believe Mangrum has played in every game this year.
  2. Idiotic questions and the title of this thread includes, "Can we expect a win against Oklahoma?" 3:00am is too late to be posting.
  3. This was the AP version also listed on Yahoo! Sports.
  4. Same article in the Houston Chronicle this morning. Even with a relatively large contingent of players from this area, NT games barely were mentioned in the Chronicle. Good publicity from this hire.
  5. You may want to wait until after signing day. Hopefully he will be busy recruiting after the first of the year.
  6. Located on the south side of Lake Grapevine.
  7. It's amazing when "shut him down" equates to 111 yards and 2 TD's. Then again, when you run for over 3,000 yards this season, 111 yards is a shut down.
  8. Good luck. I was told I would receive my 2006 calendar three times and never got it. I finally gave up.
  9. It's the DRC. Did you expect better?
  10. No, but how many schools are? My assertion is that a school from a major conference that has historically won more than they've lost and qualified for the NCAA's is not a "mid-major."
  11. You are correct. ASU has been to the NCAA's many times and Baylor's football team has...umm...oh no, that analysis doesn't work.
  12. UNT News UNT Inside News Here are a couple of links where the contest has been listed. Get the word out. Oh, and all of you in Tarrant County, no open flames tonight. FFR and the Firehouse boys need to be voting and not fighting fires. Playmaker, when you get in at 3:00am, resist the urge to post some random thought and vote for Caris. Quoner, change your name to Tschaoner and vote all night.
  13. LSU has been to a few Final Fours and were typically ranked during the Dale Brown year's. Arizona State plays in the PAC-10 with Arizona and UCLA which I would equate to much better competition than SFA and Nichols St.
  14. Not to hurt any feelings of Newman Smith grads, but their football team has never been especially good. I'm sure they consider 5-5 and 4-6 successful seasons considering they typically only win a couple of games a year. Newman Smith, on the other hand, has an excellent baseball program.
  15. Just voted and I was obviously the only one voting for Caris.
  16. I must reply. 1. NT's schedule is not that tough. 2. Most of our transfers came from larger schools, Davis (Arkansas), Wooden (Arizona State), Johnson (LSU) and Fleming (Oklahoma St.) to name a few.
  17. That RB is Sam McGuffie. He is plays for Cy-Fair in Northwest Houston and he has run for over 2,000 yards this year as a junior. A friend of mine's son played against him in the opening round of the playoffs and said he was the best RB he has ever played against.
  18. I would rather be getting votes in the regular poll.
